Lizz's POV
"You're done with the poetry assignment ?" I said and looked up at him
"Which assignment ?" He threw the ball at the wall and catched it back after it bounced on the wall "don't tell me its due tomorrow" he groaned and rolled his eyes, I chuckled and and lightly rocked my leg, waving them in the air
"English, we have to write a poetry" I smiled at him and handed him his towel, he grabbed it and ran it over his sweaty face, biceps, shoulder, neck, and some parts of his upper chest, after cleaning himself he wrapped it around his neck "Its Saturday tomorrow, No school, but we have it due next week" I said and he leaned on the window and kissed me Its been like 3 days since our heated passionate kiss and I was dying to feel his lips on mine, I don't know what's going on between us, we're not just friends but we're also not dating and we're obviously not boyfriend-girlfriend But I am happy with whatever is going on
I spend most of my mornings, afternoons and evenings with him and whenever we're not seeing each other we bump into each other, we bump a lot in that park and we both avoid going there at the time when kids are around
"Ahh leave I'll complete it within seconds" he snapped his fingers
"Ummm..hmmm" I nodded "I should leave" I wrapped my arms around his neck
"Why ?"
"I don't want mom to think the other way" I whispered
"Uhhh" he looked towards my house "ok" he huffed and bit his lip "we'll see each other soon ?" He asked, well I am confused he asked it or said it, I took it as a question
"Bye"
"Bye" he leaned closer
"Bye" I moved closer
"Bye" he lightly pressed his lips on mine, we kissed so lightly...so softly that though it last for exactly 15 seconds but felt like 0.15 seconds "meet you again" he whispered and we pulled away, I walked towards my house, I don't know why but every step felt so heavy I don't want to go
When I reached back, I heard talking, giggling from my living room I think its Nate's mom or some other friend, I walked towards my living room in case if its Nate's mom I can greet her or if any other friend, I have to greet anyway
"Hi lizz" she smiled at me and then looked at my mom then back at me
"What--What are-- what are you doing here?" I shuttered
"I just wanted to talk" she whispered when she was close enough to me
"Look Morgan there's nothing to talk about"
"Please just listen to me once please let's talk outside" she whispered lightly, I am a little angry but I still nodded and we walked into my backyard
"What?" I folded my hands over my chest
"I just want to apologize, I was wrong and you were right...you always were I am so sorry lizz" she looked everywhere but not into my eyes
"It took you 2 weeks to realize this?"
"Look all I can say is..I am sorry I take my words back, you deserve love and care and everything I am sorry I know I hurted you but it was not me it was my ego, my attitude, I never realized that what you did was for my good, but I do now I don't want to lose a friend like you lizz, I am sorry, I am so sorry please forgive me"
"Okay I forgive you " I whispered yeah that's were the only words that came out of my mouth, My head can't wrap anything around itself right now
"Really?" She asked me ,I nodded and hugged her "I am sorry" she whispered and buried her head in my shoulder
"I know..you are it's ok"
"Well I have surprise for you its in your room"
"Surprise ?" I raised my eyebrows, I hope naked Tom Holland is up there, Harry Styles will also work
"Iet's go" she tugged my arm and dragged me to my house, with a grin on her face "And Flynn didn't broke his jaw he was just over acting, he's perfectly ok just bruised" she rolled her eyes
"That over dramatic bastard" We both laughed and walked upstairs, I love my decision of forgiving her, I always need her in some way and after I reached my room she left my arm, I stared at my closed door then at her and raised my eyebrows
"Open the door" she ordered and I grabbed the knob, opened the door my room seems the same nothing special
"Morgan nothing is here"
"What ?" She made a confused face
"Mom I'm here"
"Holy fucking shit" I shouted as I heard a familiar voice "oh my God Charlie" I hugged him, he hugged me back really tightly and even pulled me up
"I missed you mom" he laughed into my neck
"I missed you too son" I chuckled "What are you doing here? And if you're here for a holiday please don't go anytime soon"
"Well I am not going anywhere,I am going to live with dad from now" we pulled away and he placed me back on the floor, his arm wrapped around my waist
"Really omg is this a dream ? if yes please don't wake me up"
"Well its not dream"
"And What are you doing here ? You were down there with me seconds ago"
"Oh it took me like a nanosecond to reach here and I thought as the leader of the group and the as planner I should be here to see everything goes properly" he said
"You planned It?" I smiled
"Yess anything for you" he said and I pulled him in a hug but pulled away quickly, after we pulled Charlie grabbed my shoulder and hugged me from the back
"Well I guess I have one more news, we both are shifting to your school" Morgan said "I told my mom everything about Flynn, got a big ass lecture then Charlie showed up and my mum talked to your principal but you were still upset and angry so Nate just ordered me to apologize" she scoffed and Nate chuckled, he went there and ordered her to say what I wanted her to say because he didn't wanted me to carry the weight around
"Thank you guys" I said
Moments later, Morgan and Charlie left, Mom went to meet Mrs. Jensen next door
In the End I was again stuck with Nate Jensen "you told her to say sorry" I whispered while sitting on my bean bag and Nate is sitting on the floor his face directly in front me, he nodded with a smile "you shouldn't have" he wiggled and holded my hand when he was close enough
"It was a need, you were so off you just kept thinking about where you got wrong lizz I have never lost a friend but I know when they're not around life is just a waste" he shrugged, I smiled
"You understand me Nate, You understood me in my silence, I want to keep you forever" I cupped his jaw
"Then keep me forever" he pulled me closer until our lips met and we kissed, he squeezed my hand lightly, I'll keep him forever
