Janet Benowitz got kicked out of her parent's place for one too many misdemeanors. Her best friend Alexah offered her a place in her apartment, for split rent and a cigarette whenever she needed. This was mostly a shitty point in Janet's life, but at least she got to live with her best friend, her best friend whose brother was always hitting on her. With a suitcase full of dirty clothes and a lighter in hand, Janet was ready for a clean slate, a new period in her life.
