Alice's POV
"I said, get your ass back in here."
"Why? I'm going back to Marcus' to spend the night. I don't wanna be here all night."
"Well, neither do I. So get in here."
"I'm not following. And I don't think you are either. I'm going to Marcus' for the night and I don't know the way to his house from here. So you're gonna make him wait for me?"
Dallas walked up to the three of us and shoved Marcus and Maddie out the door.
"No, I'm making you stay here."
He locked the screen door and I gasped as I looked through it.
"Why not make Maddie stay? Why me?" I yelled. I quickly looked back at Maddie when I remembered she was right behind me. "Sorry."
"It's fine..." She mumbled.
Dallas shoved past me. "Take her back to your place instead. Get lost." He said to Marcus.
Dallas slammed the second door in their faces and suddenly we were alone.
I stood there dumbfounded for a moment as I processed what had just happened.
"What just happened?" I yelled. Guess I'll just have to ask straight up instead of wondering all night what happened.
"I'm making you stay and clean up."
"But why?" I continued, still yelling.
"Really? You're gonna go back to his house?" He scolded.
"Y-yes!" I yelled with a tint of confusion. It certainly took me off guard. "You out of all people should know I'm not thrilled about being by myself right now!"
"So fucking him is what makes your worries go away. Gotcha."
"WHAT? EW!" I yelled. "Who the hell told you that?"
"Maddie." He said quickly as he glared at me.
"I don't even know Maddie! I've said maybe four words to her in my life! We have a couple classes together! That's it! And why the hell do you care so goddamn much!" I screamed.
"Because it's ridiculous!"
We were inches apart and the anger just intensified as more came out.
I was at a loss for words and Dallas looked at me like he had won. "That's what I thought."
It took me a second to even process his words. I had to come up with something. He didn't win. "You're just jealous..." I uttered.
He turned around quickly. "Excuse me?"
"You're just so jealous of Marcus. Marcus gets to hang out with me. Marcus gets to see me every single day. Marcus hangs out with me. Marcus likes me." I paused. "Marcus gets to fuck me."
"Oh, knock it off." Dallas uttered.
"But I'm right! And you know it damn well! You're a jealous person! That's why you hate him so much. Huh? Is that what it is? You're jealous?" The words rolled right off my tongue. I was getting myself in trouble, but I didn't even care in this moment.
He walked up to me and looked me dead in the eye. "Enough is enough."
"You're mad I'm right." I mumbled. I didn't miss a beat. I was done being walked over by him.
He was at a loss for words. Nice try, Dallas. "You're right."
I raised an eyebrow. "Huh?"
"You're right." He said with a pause between his words.
"Yeah, I know. So I'm leaving now."
I turned around to leave and end the night like that, but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back.
"What is your deal?" I asked.
"You're right."
"Y-yeah, I got that. I know. We can move on now. But I want to leave."
He sighed. "You aren't getting it. You really are right. I am jealous. I am just so fucking jealous because all you do is talk about him and you're all over him all the goddamn time."
I stood there blankly. "Look, this isn't funny anymore. I'm gonna go now. Then we can pretend this never happened. We'll just go back to never crossing paths ever again."
"Why are you so adamant on ignoring me? Why are you so set on never talking to me? I'm trying to tell you I like you and all you can say is that we never have to talk to each other again?"
I couldn't even get my words out. "I can't tell if you're being serious or not."
"I'm being serious."
"Well every since I've known you, all this has been is one big game to you! I don't believe you!" I yelled.
Before I could walk away, Dallas grabbed my waist and pulled me in closer. Within seconds he had his lips pressed against mine and the whole world seemed to go silent.
He pulled away and looked up.
"What?" I asked. He pointed towards the ceiling and I noticed a security camera in the corner. "Oh..." I uttered.
I couldn't truly process anything going on. I was tired and I wanted to take it farther.
He must have been able to read my thoughts. He grabbed my wrist and we both went upstairs.
I was pressed against the door in his room as his hands traced down my back, making my heart skip at every new movement.
I tangled my fingers in his hair as his tongue slid down my throat.
This was all so new to me, but I seemed to play it off like I was used to this.
But that's the thing.
I would never be caught dead doing something like this.
Especially with him.
