The Other Side: Korra and Asami

Chapter 11

The next day, Korra woke up with a strange feeling in her chest but she shrugged it off.

It's a new day to make Asami fall inlove with me.

From her bed she sat upright then stretched her arms and cracked her back while she yawned. She changed her pyjamas to her usual water tribe outfit. She faced the door and reached for the knob but then she paused and stared at it.

I can make Asami fall inlove with me. I can do this.

"I can make Asami fall inlove with me." She whispered.

I've done this so I can do it again.

"I can make Asami fall inlove with me." She said with her normal voice.

I need to believe. I have to.

"I can make Asami fall inlove with me. Aaaaagggghhh!" She shouted. She jumped around the room and started to
make a fist out of her hands. She then punched the air as if she was hitting a punching bag. She was pumped up and ready to make Asami fall for her.

Then there was a loud knock that broke avatar's concentration. She opened the door and saw Tenzin outside.

"I heard you screaming, is everything okay?" He asked.

"Yup! Everything's okay." The avatar made a huge smile. "Just trying to pump myself up for the day." She then scratched her nape embarassed by the loud noises she made.

"Okay. . . let's eat breakfast before it becomes cold. Pema cooked your favorite."

The two went to the dinning area. Korra immediately sat down and ate the food quickly. The air family was shocked with their jaw dropped with how fast the avatar ate her food.

Korra then took Naga and went to Republic City. She stopped by the market to buy a boquet of flowers for Asami. Then she headed to the mansion.

The mechanic's mansion was filled with police and reporters. The avatar saw Beifong and went to her.

"What happened?" Korra worriedly asked.

"The mansion was invaded. Good thing Marco was there to protect Asami." Beifong said.

"Where is she?"

"Over there with the paramedics." Beifong pointed out to the ambulance where Asami sat beside Marco.

Korra's face scrunched as she saw Asami sitting beside Marco. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to keep  her self calm.
Opened her eyes and took a step forward but she saw Marco place his right arm around the non-bender's shoulders.
