Rachel had dragged Chloe to the Drama Club room while the other classmates were in the middle of rehearsal?
"I do beseech you, chiefly that I might set it in my prayers: what is your name?" Hayden spoke.
"Miranda" Dana replied holding her hands over her heart, "Oh, my father! I have broke your hest to say so!"
"Good!" the drama teacher praised.
"Admired Miranda! Indeed worth what's dearest in the world! Many a lady I have eyed with best regard, and many a time hath listened- many a time the harmony of their tongues- hath I listened to-" Hayden struggled with the lines as both Rachel and Chloe cringed.
"Hayden! You're killing me! You've had weeks to be off book!" the teacher said frustrated.
"Sorry, Mr. Keaton" Hayden put a hand on his head in embarrassment.
"No, don't apologize to me. Apologize to your scene partner, who's been very accommodating and to your other fellow actors, and most of all, to yourself-"
"Mr. Keaton?" a voice asked as everyone turned to them.
Jade had come from the drama office and heard the discussion going on. Chloe's and Rachel's eyes were glued onto Jade. Chloe seemed to notice Rachel's hand was rubbing her arm in... bashfulness?
"I couldn't help but hear what was going on. I'm sure there's no reason to get Hayden worked up. Shakespeare is tough stuff to memorize and act all together. I know all of us are stressed with the performance coming up soon and we want to make the best out of this play, but I feel with more encouragement than getting frustrated, we'll pull through." Jade said folding her hands together looking at everybody.
Dana smiled while Hayden became more relaxed with Jade's words. Rachel couldn't help but smile over at Jade. Chloe blinked at Jade curiously. Mr. Keaton let out a sigh but nodded.
"Well said, as always. Jade. Are you sure you want to work backstage rather than be on stage? I feel like I could use your help with this performance." Mr. Keaton begged.
"Trust me, Mr. Keaton. I'm weak at my Shakespeare. I'm better off saving you the trouble if I'm not performing. But you can count on it I'll audition for other plays later on!" Jade said smiling.
"I'll expect you to-" Mr. Keaton said until Rachel cut in.
"Mr. Keaton, sorry to interrupt, but does this look better? I had my mom take it in a bit." Rachel referred to her costume as she did a twirl for him.
As Rachel twirled around she made a wink at Chloe and Jade.
'Rachel looks awesome... This is getting as surreal as last night. Wonder how Jade looks in costume?'
"Mrroww! Looking good, Rache." "Very cool." Dana and Hayden complimented, making Rachel run her hand over her hair over the kind words.
