Abigail's POV:
hi my name is Abigail Evans I'm 24 and I'm originally from Scotland but I moved to Manchester when I was around 18 for university and I've been here since. Since then I've become a nutritional chef and have been a private chef for some of the up and coming England and Scotland football players, at first it was so strange being a football fan and planning and cooking what these people eat then going to watch them play but I suppose after a while you get used to it.

After the success of the women's team in the euros this summer I was offered the job as a nutritionist with the Manchester United women's team which i accepted of course! I knew some of the girls already from doing meal preps with them privately, a few being Mary Earps, Nikita Parris, Ella Toone, Katie Zelem etc. all of which are great craic and I can't wait to work with them more and see them more often!

Skip a few days:
Today was the day I was starting my new job with the United girls and funnily enough it happened to be the day the England girls rejoined the team for pre season after their time off  from the euros, which being a scot was bittersweet to watch trust me, and I'm sure I'll never hear the end of it from Tooney when I see her. Anyway, after getting ready and putting on my new Manchester United training gear I got sent I left my house and drove to the training centre at around 7:15.

After spending a car journey singing Taylor Swift I got parked up at about 7:45 which was great for me considering I wasn't supposed to meet Mark till 8am. After taking a good 5 minutes to compose myself and calm the first day nerves I left the car and was greeted at the entrance my the manager. He gave me a quick whistle stop tour of the place before the girls arrived for training which works for me so I could get straight to work. Once he'd walked me back to my new office (fancy I know) I got straight to work.

I was gathering notes on the girls and their previous diets and all that fun stuff that helps me create meal plans and fuel them when I got a knock on the door from none other than Ella, of course I heard her before I could see her, I laughed and shouted for her to come in. I shut my laptop off to greet the euro winner who of course brought her new medal to show off and tease me with! "Abi long time no see aye" I laughed "yea tell me about it girl it's been what 3 months" she replied "i know but hey winning the euros takes time hehehe anyway your here now so we'll be seeing each other on the daily" "I know how will I ever survive" she laughed "oi behave you love me really" "I suppose you're alright ... haven't you got training to be getting to" " yea yea alright just came up to greet the new girl, I'll see you at lunch Abi" and with that the room was once again silent I smiled to myself realising how much I'd missed Ella and how close we'd gotten before the euros, happy to be getting to see my friends soon I went back to work.

At about 11:30 I decided I'd done enough for the day and needed food so hopefully I can introduce myself to the rest of the girls, so I made my way to the canteen after making at least 3 wrong turns on the way but we got there eventually. When I entered the canteen was full of the girls coming in from the pitches in groups for lunch so I made my way over to the girls I hadn't yet met and introduced myself, everyone seemed so lovely and welcoming so far which I appreciated. Once I'd greeted all the girls I hadn't met I heard my name being shouted from across the hall by Mary who ran over and engulfed me in a hug. Usually she's more chilled out but I guess she missed me. As I did with Ella I congratulated her on the summer and she brought me over to the table which consisted of her, Tooney, Katie, Millie turner and keets there was 2 spare seats so I sat down with a hot chocolate and had a good catch up with the girls about the euros and what they got up to with their time off, of course the pap photos of Ella and her greggs came up which left the table in hysterics. As the laughter from that was dying down the door opened revealing the one and only Alessia Russo. Unfortunately I hadn't worked with her before so I was quick to get up and introduce myself, "hi I'm Abigail the new nutritionist for you girls" "oh my god hi I'm Alessia it's so lovely to finally meet you I've heard a lot about you and your food from tooney" I laughed "that sounds about right, but don't worry I knew who you were already I seen you at the euros, congratulations by the way"I rambled  "aw thank you so much I'm assuming from your accent you aren't from Manchester" she questioned "you would be right I'm from Scotland so as fun as the euros were I can't lie I'm a bit bitter about it" I joked. "Are you two done" we heard Ella tease, and with that we sat down and had some lunch and had a good chat with the table before heading home for the day!  After saying my goodbyes to the girls I head to my office to grab my laptop and headed for the car park. Successful first day in my eyes.

As I was driving home from the training centre I was replaying the day in my head, the main thing sticking out to me is meeting the girls especially Alessia, she's exactly how I'd imagined her to be from seeing her on tv and hearing stories from Ella, she's so kind and funny and not to mention absolutely stunning I was a bit taken aback can't lie. After gushing over Alessia in my head for about half an hour I had arrived back at my house.

After getting changed and getting a nice cuppa tea and settling into the couch I had decided to chill for the remainder of the day I was watching Netflix when I got a notification on my phone
