Huh?
I continued reading my book, a small shiver passing through my spine. It was there. A feeling. Someone, or something, was watching me.

I kept reading. My mind making scenarios of the characters, replacing the protagonist by me and the love interest by my long time crush.

A cold shiver ran down my spine again. That feeling, again.

I finally stopped reading and closed my book. I looked behind. Nothing. I looked on my sides. Nothing.

That feeling was there but it was low now, as if whoever was staring, stopped. I knew that wasn't the case though.

I packed my things and stood up. A slow warm feeling spread through my chest for some unknown reason.

I walked to the exit, indulging in that warmth. It was there the whole way.

"Mum, I'm back!"

No response. Maybe she's sleeping. I shrugged and went to my room upstairs. A slight cold shiver again.

Hmm..

"Hello?" I whispered. My sound went unanswered in my room. Gosh I'm crazy.

I sudden warm feeling came in my chest and I hummed in delight. I laid on my bed and turned around, resting on my belly. R looked cute today. If I was dating them, I'd have told them that. If only...

I felt myself falling asleep but suddenly a cold wave swept over my legs, arms and hands. I shivered lightly and wrapped myself in a blanket. Weird.

I tried sleeping but my mind kept itself up.

"Focus..."

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Focus? On what?

I felt a cold feeling near my abdomen and moved my hand to touch it when I felt a light shadow there. I quickly opened my eyes and sat up, tugging my shirt up to see what that was.

I couldn't see anything. I could feel my breath getting a bit colder. I quickly put the blanket on once again and lied down.

My mind got filled with images of R and me. Such a beautiful smile. Those eyes...

A sudden hot feeling washed over me, making me gasp loudly. I took off the blanket and lied back down before getting back to my made-up scenarios.

"Mhmm they are indeed beautiful..."

I furrowed my eyebrows again, focusing on the voice this time. It seemed to chuckle lightly which made my heart flutter.

"Hello, A. Can you hear me?"

"Yes, yes I can."

"Amazing! So we can finally talk.."

"Huh? Talk?...Me and who?"

A cold feeling again then a warm feeling, followed by a slight touch on my arm.

I gasped lightly, wondering whether I should open my eyes already or not.

My curiosity winning me over, I finally opened my eyes. At first I couldn't see anything except the roof above me. Slowly I realised there was a light shadow above me, almost as if someone was on me, except they didn't weigh anything.

I gasped lightly when I made eye contact with them. Their eyes were the darkest of black I had ever seen. They seemed to reflect my face like a mirror.

"Done admiring?"

I blushed a little and they chuckled lightly, a very light wave of warm air hitting my face where there breath should have been.
