Subject: Commander Urak
Species: Kna'ak
Ship: KR Angiyuq
Location: Border of the Kna'ak Republic

Alarms are going off, the ship took a heavy hit to its hull. "Hull integrity at 35% and our shield is gone", my first officer yells at me.
"Commander, if we don't get out of here soon, we're going to lose everything!" He shouts over the alarms.
Our fleet is already shatterd we are the last ship left.
"Get us out of here Navigation Officer!" I  bellowed back. We only have one chance if we want to survive.  The crew is panicking and I'm doing everything I can to keep everyone calm. If we don't survive...we won't be able to help anyone.
"Blind jump initiaded." The nav officer  reports.  Jumping without shield and with a broken hull is risky but  necessary. We'll either survive or die,  there isn't much that can be done now. I'm still scared to death as we enter the FTL. All sensors are offline and nothing in the system is working.
I can feel everyone tense up as we leave hyperspace. "System reboot"  I ordered. Nothing happened for several minutes. Our shields are offline. Our main engines were damaged in the attack. It's up to luck we made it through Hyperspace. "Commander" a sudden screech disrupted my thoughts. My first Officer, Officer Lakab looks at me, "I have no idea where we are, this is not Kna'ak space nor the territory of the empire." "What is the status of the ship? can we jump back?" I  ask. He shakes his head.
"We are in an unfamiliar star system and the ship has sustained severe damage. We need to find a place to repair our ship or we will break apart."
"Can we find a place to repair?"
He nods. "I believe so but there's no guarantee. This star system has 8 planets and a lot of moons we should find everything what we need. First scans show that three of them have breatheable Oxygen on them and liquid water. But our scans need a few more minutes to be precise about the conditions"  He explains. He is right, these planets are perfect candidates for repair. "I need the status of the crew is anyone injured or dead?" I  asked, concern creeping into my voice.
"A few minor injuries and nothing fatal. Most of the crew are fine sir." He responds.
"Good, report any changes."  I replied, turning around to look at the main viewscreen.
"Fuck.. Commander this Star System is inhabited. The scanners found artifical structures all over this system." "Is it the Empire?"  I ask. "There was no sign of ships or anything except for us" Lakab replied. Suddenly an Alarm goes off.  It starts flashing red and the whole bridge goes silent,  we all hold our breath. "Incoming Vessel" the board computer suddenly spoke up.
My heart rate speeds up at the sound of the words. It's the Empire. They know we're here.  We need to get out of here before they come in force and take control of our ship.
But then the board computer said something i haven't heard in a long time "Origin Unknown" The computer said. What the hell does that mean?  There must be some sort of error.  I look at Lakab and he stares blankly at the screen. His face is pale. "The Scanners are picking up the Vessel but it's ... it's way to big to be a ship." On the screen pops a 3D model up that looks like heavy armored chunk of metal. I never have seen a ship of this kind before. "This is not the Empire" I muttered.
The rest of the crew went quiet, no one dared say anything. "If it's not the Empire it has to be a first contact, hail them." Lakab says softly.
I give him a curt nod and speak quietly into the radio "Greetings this is Commander Urak of the KR Angiyuq we come in peace can you please identify yourself?"
I wait for several seconds until a voice answers "Greetings this is Admiral Anderson of the TUAF Messor we already encrypted your language and we will upload a translation uplink to your ship in this moment. It came to our attention that a heavily damged ship entered our system do you need any assistance?"
I glance over at Lakab who looks confused. He looks as though he didn't expect this at all.  I nod slowly to tell him I understand. "Thank you Admiral, I would appreciate any assistance you could offer." I reply.
"By the way Commander Urak, welcome to Sol." The Admiral's voice said.
