"The thing you need to understand about the old legends is that the story is never finished. There maybe no pages left to turn, but there is always more to the journey. Rising from the netherworld, the Demon Bull King attacked. No one could stop him, no one could resist. No one except . . . The legendary monkey king. The monkey king used his magical staff to pick up a nearby mountain. He trapped the Demon Bull King underneath it. The monkey king sealed the mountain with the staff that no other being could wield, trapping the DemonBull King forever. With the battle won, the monkey king vanished, never to be seen again. Legend says the staff still lies on top of that mountain, the only thing keeping our world from certain destruction. And with the Demon Bull King gone, civilization was able to advance into the amazing city we now live in. A world of elegant cultures, gentle loving people, a city brimming with five-star cuisine, and all because of the the monkey king". Tang finished telling the story, as he relaxed on his seat next to his table, while mk got all excited.

"Oh, monkey king is so cool! He's so strong and handsome!". Mk gushed, doing some poses.

"Boy, you are quit the monkey king geek, mk". Said min, who walked out of the kitchen with a try of noodles then places it on the counter.

It had been two years since min lived in the city and her life was going great. She got a job as a waitress/delivery girl at pigsy's noodles, she was able to rent her own apartment in the apartment building mk was staying at and everyone doesn't beats her up or make fun of her anymore. Eventually, her friends found out about her eyes changing colour and they were shocked, but they didn't complain. Mk and mai, on the other hand, thought it really cool and it's like having a super power. Min still keeps in tact with her mom but never mentioned anything about coming back to lantern city because she's moved on. And in her time of being in megapolis, she managed to gain some self-confidence and even learned marshal arts to defend herself. She also picked up a few hobbies on the way, but her favourite of the all was relaxing. People have been trying to tell her that that's not a hobby, but she didn't care.

"Who wouldn't be, mins?! He's just so awesome!". Mk gushed some more, his eyes turned into stars, to which min chuckled, resting her elbow on the counter while finding the delivery boy's childishness kinda cute.

"Oh, mk and you thought you knew all the monkey king stories". Tang said, before mk brought out a book to show pictures of the monkey king that he created.

"Oh, but I do. I got his whole life documented extensively in this unauthorised autobiography of the monkey king. Written and illustrated by yours truly". Mk winks at min, making her to playfully roll her eyes at him. "Like I knew he was born from a stone, and lives behind a waterfall with his sweet little baby monkey friends! And-and-and oh!".

Tang grins and takes one of the pictures to get a better look. "It's nice to know someone's taking in all these stories. Pearls if wisdom, dripping from my lips".

"Something's dripping alright". Min thought, rolling her eyes at her uncle, who clears his throat and smirked.

"Well, you know the deal: one story, one free bowl of zha jiang mian".

Min sighed and shook her head. Her uncle can be such a freeloader.

"Huh? Oh right, free noodles! Yep, on it". Mk said, going over to the tray of noodles that min placed on the counter. "How heavy do you think a mountain is? Compare to like-".

Mk trys to grab a bowl of noodle when a spoon slams it out of his hands and it was caught by a angry pigsy.

"Free noodles?!". The shop owner questions before snapping at tang. "No one gets free meals at pigsy's! I'm not running a charity here, tang!".
