When Damon pulled away from the girl the others began to come down the steps, most of them out of curiosity but others like Bonnie and Stefan came closer in concern as they saw her state. Stefan moved farther back though when the smell of blood was too strong for him, this was not the time to lose control after all. Though despite the situation, a few couldn't help but think that she was beyond gorgeous and the unnatural glow of her emerald-green eyes only made her look that much more ethereal.

"Jade, tesoro (honey), what's wrong? Where are you hurt?" Damon asked the concern written all over his face as he looked her over. No one had ever seen him like this before, well except Bonnie, who was looking at Jade's pale complexion in worry. Stefan obviously understood the Italian words, even though the last time he had heard it from his brother's lips was when they had been human and he then realized that Damon truly cared for the girl because he never uses that language with anyone. It reminded him too much of a time he tried his best not to remember.

"I-I...I don't..." The girl stumbled upon her words as she held her head, looking really out of it and moments away from keeling over. She stumbled for a moment and Damon quickly held onto her as his eyes looked into her own unfocused ones in absolute worry.

"Stai Bene Stellina? (Are you alright Little Star?)" Damon asked the girl and they were surprised at his use of Italian. The teenagers had learnt it when they were younger and they remembered enough to know when someone was speaking it. The Mikaelsons could understand exactly what he was saying and well, most of them couldn't care less but Rebekah couldn't help but aww in her head. She didn't like Damon and that was the understatement of the century but the fact that he called her Little Star was just so adorable.

However, her and most of the other's eyes widened a second later, when all of a sudden, her eyes rolled back in her head as she fainted. Damon quickly managed to catch her limp body before lowering them both down to the floor, they all saw him quickly bite into his arm before putting his bloodied wrist over her mouth. They all watched with bated breath, waiting for her to wake up. Except what happened next they all didn't expect, the girl had retched the blood out all over the floor and now looked even worse, it hadn't helped at all. That had never happened to any one of them before when they had tried to heal someone and they were confused about why it had happened now.

They watched Damon look down at her practically lifeless body for a moment with the uttermost fear on his face before looking up at the horrified people around him and said, "My blood can't heal her. You have to help her. You've got to know a spell or something. Anything. Just please heal my daughter."

They were all shocked at that because when was the last time Damon Salvatore begged for anything? Never. He never begged. They all doubted the word please was even in his dictionary until they heard the words coming out of his mouth. They had really underestimated his care for the girl.

The rest of the wizards and witches looked horrified as they gazed down at their savior, at their friend. Her skin was ashen, she was lying limp in a random guy's arms who they had never met before and who they were all pretty sure was a vampire, and she had just retched out his blood all over the floor. They knew their history and that there were two types of vampires, and one of them had the ability to heal people with their blood so he obviously must have been trying to heal her.

They weren't normal humans though, they had magic literally inside of them and for some reason, their core disrupts the healing process and instead causes the body to reject the foreign magic. Sometimes though it depends on how big the core of a witch or wizard is, whether they are powerful enough to overcome the rejection and let the body accept the blood or the body rejects it instead. They knew Jade was powerful enough, however, considering how weak she is, it was practically impossible for her body to accept the blood right now.
