Before johnny came to the Curtis's House Soda begged ponyboy to sleep with darry for tonight pony didn't agree to it at first but he knew something was up but didn't want to force it out of Soda
Johnny knocks on the front door quietly Soda opens the door with a huge smile knowing it's his boyfriend He grabs Johnny's hand and pull him inside
"Are you hungry Johnny? we have some left over spaghetti if ya want you can heat it up"
"I'm fine Soda I'm not hungry" Johnny says with small smile
"You sure? When's the last time you've ate?" Sod asks walking into the kitchen Johnny follows
"This morning, I ate a waffle dally took me out for breakfast"
Soda hums and opens the fridge he hands Johnny a water
"Soda I'm fine I'm not thirsty I don't wanna barge in and eat and drink all your food and stuff"
"Johnny quit worrying, you're not just take the water" Soda looks at him with a soft gaze
Johnny grabs the water and mumbles thanks Soda hums
Soda looks in the living room making sure no one's near Johnny looks down opening his water Soda cups the side of Johnny's face and kisses him softly
Johnny puts his hand on sodas waist darry walks down the hall and yells for Soda
They quickly step away from each other
Soda walks out from the kitchen and sees darry standing in the bathroom
"Did you use all the shaving cream?"
"Yeah there was only a little left I'll buy some tomorow after noon"
"OK Soda is Johnny here? I thought I heard yall talking"
"Yeah he is" Soda smiles on accident darry looks at him weirdly
"Is that why ponyboys sleeping in my room tonight?"
Sodas eyes widen and looks in the living room seeing the back of Johnny's head
"Uh um.." Soda stutters
"It's fine if it is Soda you're my kid brother I'm not going to shame the things you do in your life...unless it's drugs" darry playfully glares at him
Soda chuckles and shakes his head in disagreement he walks to the sofa and sits beside Johnny
Johnny lays his head on his shoulder Soda turns his head and kisses johnnys head
"You tired Johnny?"
"A little I'll probably head out in a little to go to the lot"
Still forgetting that Soda don't like when he sleeps in the lot
"To the lot?! Johnny its freezing outside I'm not going to let you sleep out in the lot!"
"I'll be fine Soda I don't wanna barge into your home darry might not want me to stay the night.."
"Johnny no darry don't mind you staying here. Please stay I won't be able to sleep without me not knowing you're safe and warm. "
Johnny grabs Sodas hand and rubs his palm gently
"O-ok i won't sleep in the lot, sorry for worrying you Soda I didn't mean to-"
"Johnnycakes it's ok I'm not upset or anything.. you can sleep in my room"
"But what about ponyboy?" Johnny's face darkens
"He's sleeping with darry tonight"
"You sure? Will he be mad if he finds out we slept together?"
"Yeah hun im sure, he won't be mad"
Soda stands up He offers a hand to johnny pulling him up they walk to Sodas room and closes the door
"Sorry for the mess ponyboy is one messy kid.."
"It's ok Soda " Johnny smiles
Soda comes up behind him and takes Johnny's jean jacket off of him and hangs it on the back of the chair
"Do you want some clothes to sleep in?"
"Please" Johnny asks he sits on the bed
Soda goes through a couple drawers grabbing ponyboys old sleeping shorts and his shirt
He lays them on the bed and finds himself some clothes
"Go ahead and change baby I won't look tell me when you're done"
"O-ok" Johnny's face darkens from the pet name and butterflies appear in his stomach
He takes his shoes and socks off then his beat up shirt and puts on Sodas clean shirt He stands up and unbuttons his jeans He slides them down his thighs revealing a lot of brusies and scars he puts the sleeping shorts that are pretty short he sits down and tries to cover his thighs with his hands
"I'm done now soda"
"OK babycakes I'm going to change close your eyes if you want"
Johnny gets into bed and gets under the covers so his legs are covered
Soda takes off his shirt revealing his back to johnny Johnny's eyes glued to him he unbuttons his jeans they hit the floor Johnny's face darkens Soda puts on some pj pants and turns around
He gets into bed and pulls Johnny close to his side Johnny immediately clings onto him
"Soda.."
"Yeah baby?"
"Do you have any other pants I could wear.."
Soda looks at him confused and kisses his cheek
"Why hun? Are they to small?"
"No its just- never mind its stupid"
"Hey, it's not stupid if it's bothering you ok dear? What's wrong with them I'll find you some new ones"
"They just show a lot of my legs and thighs it shows my bruises..."
Soda immediately stands up and walks to his drawers
"Do you want some pants like im wearing baby?"
"If- if you don't mind.."
"Of course I don't mind Johnny I want you to feel comfortable hun.."
He grabs some checkered print pj pants and lays them beside Johnny he turns around facing the wall giving Johnny privacy
Johnny stands up and quickly changes they get back into bed they lay on their sides face to face Sodas arm draped across Johnny's waist Soda kisses him on the lips
"Goodnight baby are you warm enough?"
"Y-yeah Soda are you?"
Soda chuckles and kisses him again
"Yeah baby I'm warm enough"
"Good night Soda" Johnny smiles and kisses him
They share a couple more kisses and they fall asleep holding each other
