"Hey, Dustin this is Eddie the banished. You there? Dustin, can you hear me? Dustin? Earth to Dustin." Eddie called Dustin's name, waking me up.

"Hey, it's Y/n," I said as I answered the radio.

"L/N! Hey. Um, I'm gonna need a food delivery, like really soon, unless you want me going out into the world."

"No don't do that, we'll be there as soon as possible," I answered.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Listen, um...can you pick me up a six-pack? I know it's stupid as shit, drinking right now, but a cold beer would really calm my jangled nerves."

"Yeah, will see what we can do," I said before looking back at the couch, noticing that Max was not there. "Hey, I'll call you back later." I turned off the radio and hurried over to Dustin who was sleeping on the floor. "Dustin!" I shook his shoulders, waking him up.

"What?" Dustin grumbled.

"Aren't you supposed to look out for Max?" I asked.

"Yep." Dustin rubbed his eyes. "Yep, yep, yep. Sorry."

"Where is she?" I asked concerned.

"She's right there." Dustin pointed at the couch that was behind me. "A second ago. I swear, I just dozed off for..." He looked at his watch, his eyes widening as he looked back at me. "...an hour."

"Dustin!"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

I shook my head before grabbing his wrist. "You are going to help me find her. I swear to God if something happened to her, you are dead Henderson." I threatened as we walked upstairs, looking for Max.

We walked into the kitchen and saw that Max was drawing something. I sighed in relief as Nancy's mom greeted us.

"Good morning, guys." Karen smiled as she made her way over to me and Dustin. "Everything okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, everything's fine." I smiled back at her.

"I think it's so great that you guys are sticking together like this." Karen smiled as she put the pancakes onto the plate.

"Could try sticking together at a different house for a change." Nancy's dad grumbled as he poked his head through the newspaper that he was reading.

"You know you're welcome any time." Karen smiled at me and Dustin.

"Thank you, Mrs. Wheeler," I returned the smile.

Dustin walked over to the plate full of pancakes. "May I?" He asked, pointing at the pancakes on the table.

"Absolutely," Karen said before handing the plate to Dustin.

"Yeah, why not?" Ted piped up. "Take us for all we're worth."

"Hey, Dustin can you get me some pancakes as well?" I asked Dustin.

"Okay," Dustin chuckled before placing all of the pancakes on the plate.

"I'm going to check on Max, leave something for me," I said before walking over to Max and sitting down next to her. "Hey."

"Hey," Max said, placing her headphones on her neck.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Just couldn't sleep. People kept blasting music through my ears, for some reason." Max and I chuckled. "But Holly let me borrow some of her crayons. We've been having fun, right Holly?"

"Mm-hmm." Holly who was sitting across us nodded.

I looked at the drawings on the table. "Is this what you saw last night?"
