Law and Order SVU, Neglect

Ch. 1

                                                        Third Person POV 

It was around midnight, the corner store clerk was sitting behind the counter half asleep when he hears the bell to the door ring, 

But he doesn't see anyone, 

He walks around the counter looking for who entered, 

He sees small bare foot prints on the ground due to the weather from all the snow on the ground, 

He hears someone in the back of the store, 

He follows the noise, seeing a little girl eating out of a bag of chips, 

But what shocked him the most his the blood pouring down from a cut on her temple, 

not to mention bruising on her cheek and arms, she was in a oversized tee shirt that went to her knees, no shoes or socks on, 

her hair a mess, the shirt had holes and dirt on it, she was eating with one hand and had a teddy bear in the crook of her arm with the other, 

"Oh my god," The man rushed to the phone calling 911

                                         Elliot POV 

Me and liv arrive at the scene, 

"What do we go?" I said as me and liv walk with an officer, 

"The store clerk called it in, the little girl came walking in no shoes, in a giant tee shirt, eating some of the food off the shelf, then he seen the cut and bruises on her," The officer said 

"Has she said anything?" Liv asked 

"No, won't talk, she seems very skittish," The officer said 

Me and Liv look at the little girl sitting in the ambulance clutching tightly to the teddy bear as they load her up, 

"I'll go with her," Liv said 

I nodded, 

                                        Molly POV 

They took me away in a 911 car, I don't know why I was just hungry, I just wanted some food, I thought as I held tightly to teddy, 

"Hi Sweetie my name is Olivia, what's your name?' The lady said 

I clutched my teddy tighter, 

Mommy said if I ever talk about what happens at home I would be in big trouble, I thought 

All ladies scare me, they are scary, 

We get to a hospital, they change me and take me to a room, they fixed my head, that hurt really badly, 

I was laying in the comfy bed with a needle in my arm, still hugging my teddy, 

                                    Olivia POV 

I approached the doctor, 

"How is she?' I asked, 

"You are lucky she got medical attention fast, she was loosing a lot of blood, she has a lot of bruising," The doctor said as she walked into her office, 

She hug up some x-rays they took, 

"She's got six broken ribs, and here there is a fracture that never healed properly, some breaks and sprains, I think this girl was abused, She's very skittish around women," The doctor said 

"Thank you," I said 

The Doctor nodded, 

I walked into the little girl's room, 

She sees me and starts to panic, 

"It's alright, I'm not going to hurt you I promise," I said 

"Can you tell me your name sweetheart?" I said 

She still didn't answer, 

My phone rang, 

I walked out of the room answering the phone, 

"We followed her footprints six blocks, but lost the trail," Elliot said 

"She say anything," He asked 

"No, but there are signs of abuse," I said 

"Where the hell did this kid walk from," Elliot said 

"Yeah, and who is she and where the hell are her parents?" I said
