Chapter 7- Hello Again

Chapter 7

I pop popcorn and grab a few movies, just as I'm pouring popcorn in the bowl the doorbell rings. I run over to the door, "Hey, Come in," I say trying to act cool

"Thanks."

"So where's my suprise?" I smile

"You're looking at it," he chuckles

"Are you joking?" I ask

"Well, I have 2 surprises for you,"He takes off his shoes and makes his way to the couch, "Here." He throws something at me

I laugh, "Oh my gosh," it's a juicebox, "I've been waiting." I wink

I toss in a movie and grab the popcorn, I sit on the couch next to him, just as I do, he lays his head on my legs.

He smiles up at me, and I make my focus towards the TV.

After a few movies, it's really dark out. I get up to pop more popcorn, he follows me into the kitchen, "You know I like you right?" He asks, I blush

"Um.." I stammer, "No, I didn't."

"Well, I really do,"He starts to get closer, I stand there nervously, "A lot." He whispers in my ear, I turn towards him and I smile, he smiles and leans in, I put my hand in front of his lips, "Wait!"

I run to the living room and dim all the lights and turn on the fire, "You dork." He shouts from the kitchen

I run back to the kitchen, and I don't hesitate to kiss him, his lips are so soft, I can feel him smile. I slowly pull back and I smile at him.

"So does this mean were a thing?" He asks

"If you want,"

"I would be really happy if we were," he turns, "But if you don't like me.. I get it."

I roll my eyes, "I'd be sad if we weren't."

He grins, as he walks over and hugs me, almost taking the breath out of me.

"Oh well then," a voice fills the room, Zach pulls back quickly from the hug

"Go to hell Cody," I say, pissed off

"Oh honey, I'm already there." I squint at him

"I think I should go?" Zach asks

"No-" I begin

"Yes. Yes you should." Cody finishes, Cody doesn't take his eyes off him, I can see the hate in his eyes, Zach begins to walk out, Cody still not taking his eyes off him

"Zach!" I run up to him, he turns around, I crash my lips into his, that might piss Cody off a little.

He pulls back, and smiles at me, "See you tomorrow." He says as he walks out the door, I lock it right after

"Oh but you kiss him?" Cody jokes, I playfully hit him on the arm

"Well I actually like him."

"Really? You don't like me one bit?"

"Goodnight Cody," I walk upstairs

"You'll notice it one day, honey." I shut the door and go to bed

I tell Emily everything as I walk into school, "It was perfect!" She laughs, "it was.." I walk in and I see 'the three'

Meghan, Teresa and Kelly, the pain almost comes back, Teresa, 'The Leader' begins walking towards me, I try and walk the other way, "Hi, Ariel," she gives me a very, but to warm smile, I haden't told Emily yet, but right now I wish I had.

"What do you want?"I growl

"Can I talk to you? Alone."She looks at Emily

"Oh yeah, sorry." Emily looks suspicious, as she walks away

"Well, well, look what the cat dragged back from the dead, I remember when we left you, you definatly looked like it. You should have just stayed,"

"What do you want!" I repeat 

"I know you and Cody have something going on." I laugh at her remark

"I don't think you've heard, but I'm going out with-" she cuts me off

"Zach. Who hasn't heard? But I know you have something with Cody,"

"Well, you need to look over your facts, because I don't." I begin to walk away, she grabs onto my shoulder, digging her nails into my skin, I turn around

"I didn't dismiss you," she growls

"I didn't ask bitch," I spit

"If you don't care about him," she pauses, "Your friend Emily seems pretty interested." She lets go off my shoulder

"I'm not going to make her go through with that asshole."

"Woops, sounds like someone's a little defensive. Maybe you do have feeling for him, better hope Zach doesn't hear about this," she begins to walk away

"Fine." She turns around

"What was that?"

"I said," I sigh, "Fine."

"Good choice, now you better get them to go out by the end of the week, or your secret will be out before you know it,"

"What secret?"

"That's not important. Have a nice day Ariel! Hope you and Zach still continue to have a good time!" She smiles and waves at me 

Emily walks right up to me, "What was that about?"

"She was just asking about stuff," I start, "We should get to class."

"Oh okay?"

I walk away

After school I get home and I see Cody, "Hey Cody!" I say with enthusiasm

"Woah, who is this girl?"

"Very funny! You know, I may not like your humor but I know who does!" I smile

"Uh, okay?"

"My friend Emily! What do you think about her?!"

"She's okay.."

"Do you mind doing me a favor?"

"Only if you do me one."

"Ask Emily out?"

"Ummm...." He carry's on the 'm'

"Pleaseee," I smile  

"Okay, but you have to kiss me."

"Cody! I have a boyfriend now!"

"On the cheek,"

I roll my eyes, "Deal.." I go up to him and kiss him cheek

"Not as good as the real thing, but I'll get that soon enough,"

I squint at him, "Just don't hurt her,"

"I promise, Ariel."

"Thank you.." I whisper to myself

Sorry this sucked, It'll hopefully get more interesting to you guys, I'm sorry I didn't update for awhile, school, sports, and everything above.
