Third Person Pov 

Xavion took the beautifully wrapped box and was cussing under his breath as he walked to davids door. he had his hood pulled up over his head and was looking around making sure nobody was around. He knew david had left a few minutes ago and decided now would be the perfect time. 

He usually only did this on david's birthday but he knew what today was and how bad david was hurting and decided to leave something. He found his heart getting a weird feeling as he imagined david smiling as he saw the box in front of his door. Xavion quickly shook the thougth away. 

He carelessly dropped the box trying to act like what he just did was no big deal. He quickly walked away from the house and the gift he had spent $200 dollars on. Later that day david had returned home with his eyes red from crying. No matter how many times he visited it always hurt the same. 

David stopped once he saw the box in front of his door with that familiar gold wrapping paper and carefully picked it up. He later that night opened it and smiled seeing what was inside. It was clear whoever left it put a lot of thought into it. 

Decided to leave it a mystery what the gift was (the book sucks now but trust me it will get better i promise)
