Imprisonment

Mephiles gives one last look back in the direction of Empire City, before forcing the door open to the ancient temple, he sets Sonic down.

"We are home, My love you can open your eyes" Mephiles said to Sonic, the azure vampire opens his eyes. "D-Did it w-work?" Sonic stutters, Mephiles nodded "hold still, this is going hurt"

Sonic screams when the wooden stake was pulled out of his chest, leaving a hold in his chest but not in his slow beating heart, was the first thing that was healed. "Mephiles?..."

"I'm sorry...Sonic, but we can't afford another war" Mephiles admits as he scoops up the Vampire into his arms. "But...I will leave some alive...I have hope for the next generation"

Sonic held onto Mephiles, his ears pinned down to his head, he knew the humans and mortals were nothing but reckless creatures, but causing the end of time just so he can be safe, but then again the vampire didn't know any better he just hopes Mephiles is right about sparing a few mortals so that they would not repeat history.

"Mom!" The four hoglets cried out when seeing the azure vampire, that they ran into his arms hugging him. Sonic started to tear up as he hugged them back "My sweet little angels" Sonic cried out. "I'm sorry...for leaving you..."

"Alright Mephiles? You got some explaining to do?" Exetior said folding his arms a crystal ball floating behind him showing the destruction of the planet.

"Look, Mobius can use a rest-"

"You didn't bother to invite us!" Fleetway called out, "Like Damn I am the lord of Chaos!!"

Mephiles blinks before he just shakes his head. "Go crazy I guess...just don't kill every single one, if we want to rebuild Mobius well need some of those mortals alive"

"Yeah yeah...I got asshole" Fleetway said as he just teleports away.

Exetior rolls his pinpricks "Not what I meant...but I know your only doing this to keep Sonic and your kids safe..." he shakes his head "Next time...Fucking tell us before you cause the end of times"

"Whatever Exe, just go, I'll keep this old Temple hidden." Mephiles said, Exetior summons a red wrap ring he steps through before it disappears behind him.

Sonic was fully healed thanks that the blood that he was drinking, after all vampires can't just heal their wounds naturally though they can it's just very slow and makes them and easy kill, drinking mortal blood helps the healing process. The vampire was just sitting on the arm chair fixing his black one piece suit, by sewing up the bullet holes and the big hole on the chest.

He still felt bad for the mortals but at the same time he knew it was for the best that Mobius got that restart that it needed, he just hopes the newer generation is much nicer than this one that Sonic grew up in.

"Ow!! Hey!" Draven hissed after getting punched in the face by his brother.

"Percy...You know better than to punch you brother in the face..." Sonic said. "Unless he deserves it"

"Mom!" Draven shouted, The Vampire chuckles "But seriously...be nice to each other" he added.

The two hoglets went back to roughhousing with each other, something that the two boys did, it was a habit that they will grow out of, after all Fleetway and Exetior fought to death sometimes, but that was because it was a sibling rivalry thing to do, though with the hoglets do it they normally stop when the other got tired.

Sonic lets out a soft sigh as he holds up the outfit he smiles when it was finished he quickly puts the one piece suit on adjusting the the sleeves as well as the gloves than he clips the cloak on dusting it off, he adjust the ring that was on his finger, he heard a loud crash. "CRAP!!" Sonic only snickers as he rushed off to see what the noise was.
