Y/n pov

I was walking home thinking about what Wyatt had said to me and it broke my heart to think he actually doesn't want to be mates anymore.

'If only I could tell you the truth' I thought but I knew I couldn't cause then the pack would think I am betraying them and I don't want to have to choose between them and my friends

I was so in my head that I hadn't even noticed I've already arrived at home and I knocked onto the door hoping someone would answer. The door suddenly opened and I saw dad standing in front of me

"Y/n?" Dad said surprised to see me "what are you doing here at this hour?" Dad asked looking worried as he saw my dried up tears "I had a little fight with Wyatt and I thought it's best if I came here" I said and Dad motioned me to come inside

I walk into my home as Dad closed the door behind us and Mom and Addison came downstairs "sweetheart, what are you doing here?" Mom asked when she saw me "me and Wyatt had a little fight" I said sadly

"It's doesn't look like it was little" Addison said crossing her arm and I could feel tears falling down my face. Mom then came to me and led me to the couch as we all sat down

When I calmed down a bit my family all looked at me worried waiting to hear what had happened "you want to talk about it?" Mom asked and I wanted to say no but I knew my family would be even more concerned if I said that so I nodded

"Me and Wyatt got into a fight about the aliens and how I feel like he doesn't trust me around them. Wyatt then brought up about my past and how I am not  on the isle. Then He said that maybe we shouldn't be mates anymore and I stormed out of the Den" I said as I started to cry and Addison wrapped her arms around me

"Oh sweetheart, I'm sorry" mom said rubbing my back as I was crying on Addison's shoulder. "I swear when I find that wolf. I am going to-" Dad said but Addison interrupted him

"Dad, that's not going to do anything. Y/n and Wyatt have to figure it out on their own. It's not going to help if we interfere" Addison said while still holding me "Addison is right Dale. We can't interfere unless it really gets out of hand" Mom said looking at Dad and he sighs

"I guess you're right" Dad said and I moved away from Addison's shoulder "why don't you sleep by me tonight n/n" Addison said putting her hand on my shoulder and I nodded

"We'll see you in the morning sweetheart okay" Mom said as she kisses my forehead while wiping my tears and me and Addison got up from the couch "night" me and Addison said as went upstairs towards her room

I quickly went to my room first to change into pajamas that I had at home and I changed into a black long sleeved moon and star pj's that Wynter gave me as a gift for becoming alpha

I then went to Addison's room and saw her sitting on her bed with the lens in her hand. "Still struggling?" I asked as I walk up to her and sat on her bed

"Yeah, but I don't understand. I mean it all makes sense, so why isn't it working" Addison said and I took her hand "just give it time Addy, maybe it just needs time to kick in. you are half human after all" I said

"You probably right. Also are you sure you can handle Zed tomorrow for his interview? You don't have to do it, I'm sure he'll understand-" Addison said but I cut her off "I'm fine with it Addy. I'm not going to let my problems get in the way of helping my best friend" I said and Addison nods

"Okay but if you feel like you can't do it, we'll understand. Just don't try to force yourself tomorrow" Addison said and I nodded "Come on, you should probably head to bed. You look really exhausted." Addison said and we got under the covers

Addison then switched off her lamp and fell asleep 13 minutes later but I couldn't sleep so I just looked at my lens that was in my hand and I sighed thinking of one thing

'Did he really mean what he had said?'
