I watched from the wall as Wednesday walked through the middle of the room.

Matthew and Xavier were going against each other as they were interrupted by her.

"Coach, Coach, she tripped me.", Rowan pleaded.

Bianca took off her mask and the coach said to Rowan.

"It was a clean strike, Rowan."

"Maybe if you whined less and practiced more, you wouldn't suck," Bianca said looking down at Rowan.

"Seriously, Coach, when am I gonna get real competition?" She looked at the coach. "Anyone else wants to challenge me?"

"I do."

We all turned to Wednesday.

Bianca chuckled, "Oh, you must be the psychopath they let in."

"And you must be the self-appointed Queen Bee. Interesting thing about bees. Pull out their stringers, they drop dead."

"Ooh." was heard around the room.

Matthew looked at me with a facial expression of judgment and then looked back.

"Rowan doesn't need you to come to his defense. He's not helpless, he's lazy."

"Are we doing this or not?" Wednesday dead stared at Bianca.

They got in position pulling their mask down.

They started going against each other.

"Point to Wednesday." the coach said as they continued.

I couldn't help to notice Xavier watching the whole thing.

Matthew came to sit down next to me.

"The score is even."

They took off their mask.
"That first point was clearly beginner's luck. Let's finish this."

"Why is Wednesday's suit black?" Matt asked me.

"She's allergic to colors."
He looked confused looking back and forth as Wednesday continued.

"For the final point, I would like to invoke a military challenge. No masks. No tips. Winner draws first blood."

We all looked on Wednesday.

"It's your decision, Bianca." the coach said as she walked over.

"Let's see if you bleed in black and white."

Matthew let out a mumble of curse words.

They continued fighting until Wednesday got a cut above her eye.

Xavier let out a exhale.

"Your face finally got that splash of color it so desperately needed." Bianca chuckled.

I took Wednesday to the nurse. One of them cleaned off her scratch while another was taking Rowan's pressure.

I zoned out while Rowan started speaking to Wednesday.
