WoH: Now we wait for them to rescue you, hopefully.
With SKL 167....
They were safe. That's all that mattered to them at the moment. With Yap no longer being on the same ship with them, they can breathe a sigh of relief.
A funeral was held for the fallen Valkyries of Macky's group, honoring them for their sacrifice.
Pilot (Ch 2): Good riddance. With him now gone, at least the entire situation's now turning for the better.
Pilot (Ch 3): (sighs) We did what we could. And to the best of what we can. Of course, Overseer's not gonna be pleased about this.
Chief Valk: Anyway, all that matters now is that we're safe. Safe from the menace...
Carrier crew: Umm.. Ma'am.
Chief Valk: Yes? You look a little nervous.
Carrier crew: It's... the Overseer himself. He's asking on how the progress has been.
Chief Valk: ... I'm getting over there.
Once the Chief Valkyrie and Otto met, the latter greets the former.
Otto: So, Valkyrie. Status report. Has the hordes been eliminated?
Chief Valk: ...Yes.
Otto: (slowly nods) Good. And him?
The Chief Valkyrie could only stay silent, thinking of a response.
Otto: ...Valkyrie. What has happened to him?
Chief Valkyrie: ... We abandoned him.
Otto: !! Mind explaining why, Valkyrie?
Chief Valkyrie: I-it was my decision to do so! If he were to stay any longer aboard this ship, he's going to doom us all!
Otto: (darkly) And doom you all he did. [Him? Stranded? Well.. Looks like I've to send another ship to retrieve him.] Anyway, that is all. Good work, Valkyrie.
With Otto..
Not even bothering to hear the Chief Valkyrie's response of SKL 167, he ends the call and gives an order to sink SKL 167 when it returns.
Otto: [For the greater good... The loss of a few Valkyries can be accepted. Besides.. if I can get rid of Honkai hordes as much as I can or even Herrschers, I'm doing a world a favor. To make it a much better and safer place to live in. But of course.. no matter how beautiful this world may be.. It means nothing without you... Kallen.]
Elsewhere...
The entire crew of SKL 167 were now sailing back to Schicksal in Europe. A pack of submarines are quietly watching the lone carrier making it's way back, thinking they would be welcomed. But how wrong the crew of SKL 167 were. Just a few miles before they enter safe waters, torpedoes were fired from the submarines as well as anti-ship missiles.
Crew: ...Huh? Wait, this isn't right!
Chief Valk: What's wrong?
Crew: W-we're detecting torpedoes heading our way! Anti-ship missiles as well!
Chief Valk: !! Everyone, prepare to evacuate-
Before the Chief Valkyrie could finish her orders, the ship was struck. Multiple large holes were made from the impact, while the runway was bombarded by the missiles, making take-off impossible.
Chief Valkyrie: Dammit! As per the last order, evacuate the ship immediately! Get on the lifeboats!
Crew: (To the rest) *To everyone on station, we're evacuating ship. I repeat, we're evacuating the ship. All personnel are advised to get to the lifeboats in a calm, collected manner.* (Offs comms) Chief..
