"Nathaniel Stop!--Stop Niel! I'm not playing!" Alex yelled, hitting Nathan's back as he ran towards the ocean with her hung over his shoulder and her bundles flowing in the wind.

"Baby please stop," She began to beg but was too late when he ran into the water with her, making her scream but calm down realizing he hadn't tossed her in which was surprising considering he did just a hour ago when they first arrived at the beach.

Her hair had gotten totally wet and she had to wrap it up. She knew that she would have to get a new install because the hair wouldn't be the same due to the salt water.

They'd spent two whole hours driving to CoCoa beach because, Alexius wanted to visit before next month when they'd finally leave Florida after she took her Finals.

As guessed, The beach was as beautiful as the pictures had shown. 7:45 pm and the sunset was on display now and there was only a few people left on the beach.

"Why you so scary," Nathaniel chuckled adjusting her on his waist while she clung on tight to him.

Her arms and legs wrapped tight around his body while her face buried into the crease of his neck.

They both knew that she couldn't swim which is why she refrained from going no more than one feet into the deep ocean.

Nathaniel on the other hand just had to swim out and discover a floating starfish.

They usually hang out at the bottom of the ocean, or on rocks at shore in hiding, but he found it and brought it up to shore to hang out in the sand while, Alex fussed at him till he set it free back into the ocean.

Earlier

"Nathaniel do not go too far," Alex yelled out to him as she sat on the beach towel, drying her hair from Nathaniel taking her far out into the ocean without her consent.

"I'm not mami," She heard him say, but watched as he proceeded to do what she told him not to do.

He was just hardheaded.

Alex began to get in her head about moving back down to Atlanta, Georgia. Her hometown.

She wasn't ready to see her family again, but she did want to speak to her younger brother because he'd reached out to her about something that was bothering him, but he didn't say what it was.

She has a younger sister and brother. While her sister is thirteen about to be fourteen in December, Her younger brother is twelve.

They were only a year apart.

And to be honest, She was actually surprised that he'd done so considering he only used his phone to play games, and he was always in his own world.

She also wanted Nathaniel to meet him because he'd only met her younger sister, Jarvis.

"Look what I found," Said Nathaniel, taking a seat in front of Alexius who was currently putting on her black girl sunscreen since she'd forgot to apply it this morning before leaving their home.

He went on to place what he was so excited about on the ground between them, making Alex slightly scream before quickly covering her mouth, seeing that he'd brought a starfish onto the shore.

"What the fuck?" She cursed scooting away from the both, Nathaniel and the starfish.

"Nathaniel..."
