"so, how did you end up here, asleep and no money?" jimin asks as he initiates the conversation, still curious on the other male's story as he holds the can of beer in his hand.

jeongguk looks down at his drink as the side of his lip twitches, avoiding some sort of eye contact with the blonde. "well, I drank a sleeping pill at the hotel I stay in, planning to get some sleep," he mumbles, looking up at the view once again as a light smile appears on his lips. "but then I saw a postcard if this place and went to look for it myself. the taxi I rode broke down and someone stole my money." he continues.

there was comfortable silence that followed after that, the blonde still gazing at the brunette as he stands up, dusting his clothes to which jeongguk looked up curiously. jimin extends his hand gallantly towards the other male, smiling as his eyes disappear into crescents.

"come on, let's get you a taxi back to your hotel," the older said, waiting for the younger to accept his hand and offer. jeongguk looks at the other male for a while before accepting his kind gestures, carefully going off the wall where they sat on.

the walk was long as they continue their way around the small city. that is, until, jeongguk felt his heel hurting and when he turns to check, he's got a blister from his sandals- probably from the long walk earlier.

"hey, why don't you try going barefoot?" jimin suggests, a smile creeping on his face. "the people around my neighborhood does it all the time." he continues, seeing the hesitant look on the younger's face. he can not let the boy walk in his sandals with blisters, that would hurt like hell. instead, he takes off his sneakers. it was a bit old and battered but hey, it's better than nothing.

he hands the sneakers to jeongguk, who looks at him as he came out from his deep thought. "do you really know a lot of people who would rather choose walking barefoot?" he asks the older with a slight tilt to his head.

jimin nods, blinking his eyes as he keeps his hold on his sneakers. meanwhile jeongguk, enchanted by the night, smiled at him and jimin could swear his heart leaped a few times. "I wanna try going barefoot,"

the walk was comfortable, they had a few small talks here and there as the moon illuminates the beautiful city they are at.

"I sell fruits," jimin said out of the blue, looking at the younger who looks back at him, his doe eyes twinkling like it held stars in them.

"oh, so you're a fruit vendor?" he asks, keeping a casual yet polite tone. even if he was comfortable with the male, he must not forget that he has a reputation to protect.

jimin looked a little taken aback, but nodded his head nonetheless. "yeah, that's what it's called I assume,"

jeongguk hums appreciatively, and glances at the camera dangling around the other's neck. curiously, he reached out for it. "I'm surprised to see that your camera is still working after twenty-eight years."
