Chapter 14

The bunny was hopping towards the castle. And Merlin was about to jump of but the bunny suddenly changed it's direction, Merlin almost slipped but you caught him.
You realized where the bunny was going and wondered why it knew where the secret entrance to the castle was. You jumped off of it and walked up the stairs. >>Where are we going?<< Merlin asked, he started following you. >>I am going to stop Regina. You go get help.<<
>>Nonono I'm not letting you in there on your own! I don't know what that Woman can do to you!<<
>>Exactly, you don't. But I do. And now go because Snow could die any moment and I am not loosing her.<< You knew exactly where to go and what to do. You watched your mother do that a million times.
Merlin was stubborn, but the fact that Snow could die made him give in. He gave you a quick nod and ran off, the bunny stayed in the doorway.
You ran the stairs up so fast that you tripped at least five times. There is no way you'd let her die. As soon as you opened the door you got grabbed by the magic mirror.
>>Well well look at what we have here.<<
>>Hi to you too Magichard.<< The mirror was surprised that it was you that got into his "hands".
>>Well well if it isn't the traitor Y/n<<
>>Who you calling a traitor Glassface? Aren't you and my mother responsible for like a hundred lives? Because she betrayed the King? And all of that for what? Her shitty beauty?<<
>>Your mother will get her eternal beauty this time.<<
>>You said that the last time I saw you.<< you rolled your eyes.
But suddenly the magic mirror started to move you to the door. It opened it and revealed Snow tief to the tree your mother used to get those shoes. >>Y/n?<< she looked worried, and so did you. You knew what your mother was trying to do. >>Whatever she says do not eat that apple! She's tricking you!<<
Suddenly Regina walked in. She had an apple in her hand and gave it to Snow.
>>Eat or watch her die.<<
>>You'd really kill your own child to be beautiful again?<< She couldn't believe it. All of that for what? Beauty? How can one desire something so much to harm their own child?
>>She was useless anyways, the only reason she was born was to help me. And what did she do? The exact opposite. I don't need her now.<<
You weren't really hurt by those words, she never showed you love so you figured she never loved you.
>>You gonna eat that or shall I kill her?<<
Snow was scared. She didn't want others to get hurt because of her. She took the apple and bit it.
>>Are you crazy?! I said don't eat it!<<
You tried to use your magic to free yourself but the mirror hold you so tight that even the smaller movement was very painful, not to mention that you couldn't move your hands in any way. Snow started to turn into wood in front of your eyes. And you couldn't do anything to help her. The mirror started to pull you out of the room slowly. You tried to free yourself but it was pointless, you were just loosing energy from that. When the door closed the mirror blocked it and held one of your arms, then the other. >>What? You're gonna kill me now?<< you knew from the very start that Regina was lying. She would never let you go just because Snow bit that apple.
>>As much as it pains me, I will.<< he grabbed you legs too and proceeded on your arms and legs at the same time.
>>Just kidding, I'm a mirror I don't even have feelings!<< He laughed at his joke even if it was a very bad one. You were about to give up and let him kill you already but then blue lighting appeared and you fell, but someone caught you.
>>Right on time I guess.<< You opened your eyes and saw a green little dwarf. It was Merlin, he was smiling at you but turned serious really quick. The others were standing in front of you two and were ready to fight. Once you felt just a little better you stood up and stood next to them.
While everyone fought you saw it as an opportunity to get past the mirror and rescue Snow. You blasted the mirror with your magic for one last time and ran towards the door. You used your magic again to make a hole in the door and to remove the veins the mirror used to block the door. You jumped trough the hole and ran towards the tower where Regina kept Snow.
Merlin noticed that you ran away and followed you, but the mirror blocked the exit again.
You already arrived in the room where Snow was. The tree still gave of her features, it looked horrible. You even got tears in your eyes. But you didn't have time for crying, her time was running out and soon the tree would die and so would Snow, you couldn't let that happen.
>>Well hello there.<< you turned around and saw Regina. She looked so different from how you remember. Her Skin turned grey, her red hair turned white and she had wrinkles. It didn't look bad, she did age pretty well. But her cold expression stayed.
>>Give me my sister back.<< you demanded. You knew she wouldn't do that right away, but you wanted to at least try and give her one last chance.
>>Oh please, she's not your family, I am.<< she started coming closer to you.
>>We're one of a kind Y/n. You're just like me. We are family, they mean nothing to us.<<
How dare this hag speak of them like that? Why in the world would you ever be like her?
>>I am nothing like you Regina, get lost!<<
>>Oh come on don't I deserve to at least get called 'Mom' from my own child?<<
You had enough of that blabbering. You knew that she only did that for you to loose time. You attacked her and you two started fighting. You held up a pretty good fight considering Regina being very powerful. But still, you had to kill her, not just fight her. You had to win, and you knew how. Behind Regina was a balcony. Well, it used to be one but now it's just the floor. You wanted to push her off of it. So you started aiming at her feet. Regina started walking backwards and soon enough she was standing at the very edge.
Just as you were about to strike one last time Merlin jumped in.
>>Don't worry Y/n! I'm here to help!<<
You looked back and as soon as you did that Regina grabbed you and pulled you towards her. But because she was standing at the edge she slipped and you both fell.
>>Y/n!<< Merlin ran towards the cliff and looked down only to see you grabbing onto some veins and Regina holding onto your leg.
>>Y/n hold on! I'm coming!<<
But the veins were already ripping. You two were just too heavy. You had to push Regina off  and looked down to see where she was grinning too.
>>Let go Regina! There is no way I'm helping you!<<
>>Oh hell no I'm taking you with me!<<
The veins ripped again making Regina slip as well, she was barely able to hold on now.
>>Y/n please, I'm your mother.<<
She was begging you and it made you frown. But you just couldn't forget about all the people she hurt and killed. She deserved it. And now, when it was her time to pay the price she is trying to manipulate you. You wanted to kick her off but too much movement would make the veins rip faster and would make you fall too. You simply couldn't do anything, she had to fall on her own. And that came soon enough, Regina was simply too weak to hold on for any longer. She started slipping and fell into her death, screaming until she hit the ground. You watched her fall the whole time and when she finally fell you looked away.
You heard Merlin running towards the place you were hanging from and looked up. That's when you noticed that the veins barely held you. And as lucky as you were they started ripping again and you could knew that it was a matter of seconds before you fell.
>>Merlin hurry!<< right before the last vein ripped Merlin got to you and grabbed your hand. Then he pulled you up.
>>I thought I'd be late.<< He was out of breath and hugged you so tight that you thought you'd suffocate >>It's over now.<< You hugged him very tight and started sobbing. Sure, Regina was a villain, but she still was your mother. You still had some kind of mother-daughter feeling towards her.
You looked behind Merlin and saw King White coming out of the dark.
>>Dad?<< What was he doing here? Was he there all the time?
You ran up to him and hugged him too. Finally you found him. And then you remembered Snow. Where is she? You ran upstairs and saw Snow running down the stairs and of course you hugged her before taking her to your dad.
After a nice family reunion that included a lot of hugs Merlin came up to you and asked if he could speak to you for a moment. You two walked away from the others and he started speaking.
>>Y/n, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding we had in the woods. I was wrong for how I reacted. I just wish you told me sooner. So I knew.<<
>>So you knew what?<<
>>So I knew right from the start how special the girl I kissed was.<< he came closer and you could feel your whole body heating up. You didn't say anything. Because that would only result in stuttering and blabbering.
>>You are the most beautiful woman I ever met no matter if you're a witch or not. I don't care. Because I love you. And I want to spend the rest of my days with you.<<
You didn't know how to answer. And it seems like you didn't have to because Merlin cupped your face and kissed you. You kissed him back but backed of a second later because he started glowing. He got lifted into the air and seconds later Merlin turned into human. But now he was human even when everyone looked at him. The curse was broken. You broke it.
>>Merlin you're human again!<< you cheered. Because this was proof that he actually meant what he said. Not that you ever doubted of course.
Merlin didn't even care anymore. The only thing he cared about right now is kissing you again.
>>Let's not focus on that and pick of where we started.<<
And right after that he pulled you into a kiss again.
