From Disman in the North to Shaw in the south, and even its capital Arries.
News spread like wild fire, and gossips flowed like a river.
"Foresham has a queen!" Someone chanted.
"I do think it impossible that the king was beheaded that was probably a lie" another giggled.
"The audacity I heard it was the queen that ordered his execution" a woman whispered.
"Get the latest news! Foresham's new leader is a woman!" A newspapers boy cheered.
"I had thought the king was immune to the law why was he then executed?" A woman asked.
"I hear it was murder for revenge" someone else whispered.
"What was the king thinking, he has seven capable sons and he gives his throne to his daughter?" One of the men in the bars scoffed as he drink his liquor.
"If ya have a problem with women leading a place, you can git out of ma shop!" The waitress scolded the man taking the newspaper from his hands.
"Nonsense I do not think king Julian could do something of this sort" a kingsman said as they sat at a round table in the castle waiting for the new queen.
They had heard of the news two weeks ago but had not believed it and had come to see for themselves.
"Melissa" Frederick knocked on the door only to receive a groan as a response.
He knockee louder but she still didn't reply.
Sighing he opened the door and entered the room.
"Melissa!" He called and she immediately sat up startled.
"What?!" She shouted.
"There are some people looking for you, they say they are the elders?" He said and she groaned.
"Thank you I shall be out soon" she replied waiting for him to leave and he nodded.
He walked over to the door and closed it only for her to immediately lay back on the bed.
"Melissa!" He shouted again and she sat up once again startled this time opening her eyes.
"I thought you had gone" she groaned.
"I shall send some servants to help you get changed you do want to keep them waiting" he said before leaving the room.
Cassander had not stepped out of his room since the incident.
One could say he was ashamed of himself or his pride did not let him.
Melissa finally came into the room but none of the elders bothered to greet her.
She smiled at them before sitting at the head chair.
"Good day good elders of this kingdom, what has brought you here today?" She asked.
The rest of us stood at the door like guards.
"With all due respect my lady could your servants be dismissed?" One elder asked.
"I am afraid not sir and do not be mistaken, they are not servants but my most trusted bretheren" she explained.
"Then the rumors I have been hearing must be true, you are from the self righteous gang" one elder asked.
