I started to feel a pressure on my lap and chest, slowly I opened my eyes to see golden hair, I look down to see Yue sitting on my lap sleeping peacefully while putting her head on my chest

My face slowly started to heat up with blush but I quickly calmed myself down while taking deep breaths, I then look back down to the blonde that was sitting on my lap, i'll just wait until she wakes up so we can get going

It was an hour or so but Yue finally woke up, rubbing her eyes like a little girl, honestly it was rather adorable, she then looked up at me

"Well good morning"

"Morning..."

I then lift myself up while Yue slid off of my lap, I then walked over to my satchel and strung it over my shoulder as I put the materials in my bag

"Well, where are we going?"

"Well, I was looking for a way to the surface for a while, but were so down deep that I don't even know what level we are on"

"So if we can't go up-"

"We'll just have to go down"

I gave her a grin as I finished her sentence for her, Yue then walked over to me holding my hand, I then made a hole in the dome so we can get out, she then hopped onto my back, I just looked over my shoulder and looked back forward, I didn't really mind it as much

As I started to walk, i've noticed that not many monsters came and encountered us, and the ones were my snacks for the road

"Hey Alex?"

"Hm?" I looked over my shoulder by the corner of my eye to let her know I was listening

"How did you get betrayed?"

I stopped walking when I heard that that question, I was rather hesitant to answer the question, i've never really liked talking about my past, I gave out a sigh and looked over my shoulder at Yue

"Might as well tell you..it's been long enough"

As we were walking, well, I was walking and she was riding my back, I told her the story on how came down here, and became who I am now;

"We were on the 18th floor training when one of my conrads stumbled on a holy crystal, but what we did not know was a trap crystal that teleported us to the 30th floor, the farthest any human has ever gotten."

I jumped down from a ledge and looked up to see of Yue was alright, she leaned forward and bit my neck again, I guess she was hungry, I turned my head back around forward and contoured the story

"And that is where we encountered the behemoth, it was so powerful and for a party filled with inexperienced adventurers that was from another world, we held out pretty well, well until the behemoth started to act irregular, it started to use its horns as a weapon, it dug up the ground under us and I got caught in the collision"

I stop talking for a moment trying to gather some breath that was already in my lungs, I could feel Yue bite again on my neck, snacking on my neck

"I was holding on my a ledge as I yelled for someone to help me up, and someone did came; my brother"

Yue then detached herself from my neck and looked at me, I saw her at my side view, she had a rather surprised look on her face

"What, did I say something wrong?"

"You have a brother?"

I nodded my head

"Why didn't you tell me?"

I turned away from her, I had a rather mean glare in my eyes

"Because the next part of the story makes me want to kill him"

Why?...what did he do?"

I have out a big inhale trying to calm myself down, after a moment I continued the story

"As I was hanging on the ledge and my brother came over to me, I was relieved to see his face, as he crouched down, he said something to me.."

"What did he say?"

I gave her a smile

"It doesn't matter now.."

I started to walk again

"My brother forced my fingers off of the ledge I was hanging on, making me fall, almost to my death.."

I sat down making Yue sit down next to me, as I was catching my breath I started to hear soft sobs, I look over to see her crying into her hands, I was rather surprised seeing that

"What's wrong?! Was it something I said?"

She then shook her head wiping her eyes with the back of her hands

"It's just so sad that you were betrayed by your brother and classmates.."

I gave out a chuckle and leaned back

"To be honest, I don't give a damn about my brother or my classmates anymore, all I want to do now is go home"

I look over at Yue to see her nodding

"I really have no where else to go, this labyrinth has been my home for years.."

I sat in silence for a moment before getting an idea

"Um..how about you coming to my world with me?"

She then looked at me with surprised and hopeful eyes

"You sure??"

I gave out a nod

"But my world doesn't have any magic or anything magical in it, and it's pretty boring but its home"

I was then embraced by tiny arms, I look down to see Yue wrapping her arms around my neck

"I don't care where we go as long as I'm with you.."

I could feel my face heat up, I quickly move my head to the side trying to hide the blush that was forming on my face

"Why are you looking away from me?"

There was an innocent sound to her voice which made the blush on my face grow deeper, I then feel a pair of lips on my neck I assume it was just Yue getting another drink, but I didn't feel her fangs go into my skin, her lips just sat there for a moment before her lips slowly lifted from my neck

I then turn back to Yue who gave me a quick peck on the lips and got up from the side of me

"Let's go, that's enough rest right?"

I gave out a nod and got up from my spot, Yue slowly intertwined my fingers with hers as we walked, I didn't mind it, it was nice having some physical contact for so long
