I lugged the limp dry bones down the stairs and to the outside, the sun was getting lower in the artificial sky, it was now a dark reddish purple, a rather beautiful sight if I do say so myself, me and Yue walked until there was a seemingly large open space.

I gave out a sigh and set down the bones in the barren part of the grass

“This seems like its a good spot..” Yue said behind me

I just gave out a nod and set the bones down in a pile, I then took a step back from the pile and stood next to Yue, this wasn't as gruesome as I thought it would be, but given what I have been through during the last couple of months, I'm not surprised.

I mean; I got my arm eaten off, I can consume monster meat, I met Yue, lost my eye, and made it to the Maverick's lair. God my life right now screams main character development.

Yue put her hand out and a ball of flame flew out of it and landed on the pile of bones, we watched in silence as the crackles of the dried bones made its way into our ears, the smell of human bones burned into our nostrils, and the bright lights of the flames lit our faces in the now darkened environment we find ourselves in.

I stared blankly into the fire, nothing came to mind, no remorse, empathy, or sympathy. I feel nothing, when I'm supposed to feel something, nothing,

I was then pulled out of my slowly creeping dark thoughts by Yue, her small hands cupping mine, they were warm compared to my stone-cold hands. My face started to heat up, not from the fire, there was this warmth in my body thats slowly making its way up to my face, I look down at Yue to see her looking forward, at the now dim fire and ashes, her blood red eyes shineing like rubies.

I lean down, my lips inches from the top of her head, when I hesitate, no, its not the right time, not now, I need to find a way out of this world, but until then, ill have her by my side, no matter what.

I squeeze her hand and then slowly let go, I then started to walk away from where we were standing. Quiet footsteps follow mine and then soon catch up with mine, I slow my walking pace so Yue can keep up with me

“So what do you want to do now?” she asked

I just shrugged my shoulders and dug out the ring from my pocket that belonged to the Maverak

“Im guessing we can unlock the locked doors with this ring”

“So if you have it now, that means we can look?”

“Sure, we can look some more if you want to..”

We made our way back to the manor and started to unlock the doors and look inside, there was a huge library, a science lab, and a whole ton of studies, books upon books of the history here, and how did this war start in the first place. All that was interesting and all and it seems like studying these will help me find the way back home, but the one room that interested me the most was the workshop; it had minerals and supplies that you couldn't get in the labyrinth, so it may be a good time on getting some more weapons, bullets and even my arm back if I can manage it.

Yue sat on a stool while she watched me work in the workshop, she watched me make bullets with the new abilities I had gained she then watched in awe as I successfully made a realistic arm with the minerals and materials that we had, water and fireproof, I made a simple revolver and a machine gun. Once I was done making my weapons and my arm I gave out a streach and a yawn

“Tierd?”

I look over at Yue who had a look on her face, it was hard to pinpoint what she was thinking, I just gave out a shrug
