Monday 3rd October

Arriving at his elementary school with his brother, sister, Clint, and Kenny, Harvey runs into school eager to reach his classroom because as promised, Miss Jones is going to reveal the winner of the Class President vote today; he hopes that he is the one to have won the position but will just have to wait and see until Miss Jones reveals the victor. Entering into the room, he sees the young woman sitting at her desk and his friends sitting in their seats in the front row, he walks over to his ensemble of friends and sits himself down in his usual seat in between James, Julia, and Iain. Harvey turns to Iain and asks the following question:

"Are you looking forward to finding out who's won the Class Presidential election?" Iain turns to his friend and replies with:

"Yeah, I'm looking forward to it but I suppose you're looking forward to it most, since you've got let's say, "political influence" on your part do you not?" Harvey lets out a laugh when Iain mentions his "political influence", he then replies with:

"I am looking forward to it but I didn't have any influence for this election, but yeah, you're right I do have some politicians on one side of my family,"

"Oh that's cool!" After Iain says this to Harvey, Miss Jones greets her dozen students with:

"Good morning, everyone! Are you looking forward to the results of the Class Presidential election?"

"Yeah!" All twelve students reply with excitement

"Alright, I'll go and get the results!" Miss Jones goes over to her desk to get the sheet of paper that has the name of the person who is going to become class president. Going back to her previous position at the front of the class, she glances down at the sheet of paper with the individual's name on it and announces to her students:

"Okay, everyone, your class president for this term is... Harvey Oswald-Kennedy!" Harvey looks at his teacher with a shocked smile. He gets up out of his seat and stands in front of his teacher and she says to him:

"Congratulations, Harvey!"

"Thank you! I'm happy that I've won,"

"I'm really happy for you, Harvey." He goes back to his seat in between his three best friends, then Miss Jones announces to the students:

"Okay, guys it's now time for recess!" Harvey gets his backpack from under his desk and follows behind Iain to where Kenny is standing in the doorway to head out to the playground to play with his friends for a while before he goes back to class for his subject before lunchtime. After running around outside with his friends for a while, he goes back to class with the rest of his classmates for their second lesson of the day. Soon enough, lunchtime rolls around and he sprints off in the direction of the canteen, leaving Clint, Kenny, Julia, Iain and James trailing behind; getting back to Miss Jones's classroom once lunch is over, Harvey listens as she tells the twelve students:

"Alright, everyone, now that Harvey is your Class President, what is it that you're wanting him to address to the rest of the class presidents on the Student Committee at his first meeting with them on Friday?" Harvey glances along his row, particularly looking at James, Julia and Iain. Julia turns to her redheaded friend and asks him:

"Can you ask them not to give us homework?" Harvey turns his head to the left and says to her with a laugh:

"No! I don't think they'd let me do that, sorry!" After a while, it's time to go home and Harvey can't wait to tell his dads that he has won the class presidential election. Getting his backpack from underneath his desk, he goes over to meet Clint and Kenny who are standing in the doorway; he stops in front of Kenny and says to him:

"Now all we need to do is get Caroline and John, then we can go home!"

"We're right here!" He hears his sister telling him

"Oh, hi!" He greets her with when he turns his head to the right

"So, how does it feel to be Class President, Harv?" Clint asks as they exit the school and enter into the car park where William is waiting in the idling Secret Service car

"I'm excited! I wanted to win anyway." Getting into the car, followed by his siblings and Kenny, with William and Clint in the front, the ride back home to Georgetown begins. Pulling up at the house, Harvey exits the car with his brother, sister and Kenny in tow and goes to the front door to enter. After saying goodbye to Clint and Kenny, the three kids enter into the house on the lookout for the rest of their siblings and their parents. Going upstairs to their own rooms, they put their school bags away and then sprint downstairs to enter into the living room where the rest of their siblings are and their parents also. Making his way into the room with his brother and sister, Harvey sees June, Rachel and LJ sitting with their dads on one of the couches; he goes over to them and announces loudly:

"I won the election for class president!"

"That's great, Harv, I'm proud of you!" His dad says to him with a wide smile

"I'm happy you've won the election, Harv!" His daddy says to him with a wide smile too

"Thanks! I can't wait for my first meeting with the Student Committee on Friday,"

"That'll be interesting," his dad says in wonderment

"Yeah. I think I might need to give them a speech, so I was hoping that you could help me with that? Since I'm completely useless when it comes to talking to people,"

"Yeah, that's fine, buddy I can give you a hand if you need it,"

"You'll be fine, Harv, you'll get better with practice,"

"Thanks, I appreciate it." He then goes to sit with Caroline and John on the empty couch just beside his dads and younger siblings. After spending some time with his family for a while, he heads up to his room to get ready for bed and read for a while before he has to go to sleep for school tomorrow morning.
