It was the next morning. Not much happened during the night. Everyone just went to their cottages. However, something strange happened when I woke up...

I felt cool skin next to mine.. my body is naturally warm, so having someone, or something, cold next to me was nice...

I slowly opened my eyes to see Peko next to me.

She looked peaceful.. calm.. collected.. beautiful...

Part of me felt as though I should wake her, but the other part told me to let her rest.

She seemed like she was under a lot of pressure, which she shouldn't be. Honestly, we all were under pressure.

Peko lifted her arms and pulled them around me.

"Young... Master..." she murmured.

She pulled me closer to her.

"How was your rest..? Did you sleep well?" She slowly opened her eyes.

She saw that it was me, and not Fuyuhiko.

"Where is he?!" She panicked.

Her face was red with embarrassment.

"Did I.." she mumbled.

"Are you ok..?" I sat up.

"My young master felt worried last night so... I went over to lie with him to calm his nerves and I must have.. gone into the wrong cottage.."

"It was just a simple misunderstanding.."

"I hope he's ok.. he's like a little brother to me.."

"That explains why you two are close.."

"I must go make sure he's ok, I'll see you soon Tsumugi. Maybe I can convince my Young Master to come again.." she left.

Now I'm alone in my room.

There was something about Peko.. she made my heart flutter.

I used my bed to help me stand. I dressed in my uniform and changed my bandages.

Why am I doing this? Why are we in this game?

There are too many questions for this...

I walked out of my room, bumping into the princess.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" I bowed.

She chuckled, placing her soft hand under my chin. She tilted my head upwards to look at her.

"No need for that," she smiled.

"Understood," I said.

I stood upright as we walked over to our meeting spot.

I heard whining coming from a cottage.

"Where's that.." I started, but Sonia held her hand upward.

"Likely Hiyoko.." she sighed.

I walked to Hiyoko's cottage. I know she hated me, but maybe this will help her like me.

I slowly pushed open the door to see Hiyoko with her hands behind her back, and Mahiru in a tanned crop top.

Mahiru had dark freckles all over her shoulder, her pale skin making them stand out.

"This is too hard!" Hiyoko pouted.

Then she saw me.

"Get out! Get out you perverted pig barf!!" She yelled, throwing something at me.

"I'm sorry!" I yelled, quickly closing the door.

Why did I bother..? What made me think she will ever like me.

I possibly could just be misunderstanding her.

I rubbed my eyes and made my way over to Sonia.

"Miss Sonia?" I looked up at

her.

She smiles and shook her head "Just Sonia is alright"

I nodded.

"Do you have any suspicions about people? I know it's wrong to but I'm just worried" I mumbled.

She chuckled. "No, no suspicions. However, that white-haired boy seemed a bit.. odd. Y'know?"

I nodded.

Nagito made me feel uneasy for some reason, a bad gut feeling.

Sonia and I arrived at the cafeteria together.

"good morning" Sonia smiled.

"good morning" Byakuya spoke, "how did you all sleep?"

"Just fine," Sonia said.

"Very well, actually" I answered

Peko nodded.

"So where's Mr. Bossbaby?" Hiyoko said "I don't want him planning anyone's murder. Especially Mhiru's. Bad enough he's a yakuza."

Peko stared at her blankly

"My young master is exploring the island." she said "If he tells me anything I will inform all of you"

Hiyoko rolled her eyes.

"Young master this! Young master that! Shut up!" Hiyoko whined.

"You asked about him you're going to get an answer about him," Nagito said,

"Whatever" she groaned.

Eventually, people began to leave, one by one.

Te, it was just me and Peko.

We were both silent.

Two drinks slid toward us.

"How did" Peko mumbled.

I took one, slowly taking a sip. Cherry coke, my favorite.

Peko slowly grabbed her drink.

"I suppose this is to break the silence" Peko chucked.

"Guess so" I smiled.

We talked and laughed til the sky turned black, and the bell rang.

We both went silent has it really been that long?

"Finally you two are done. I've been standin' here for an hour and a half." Fuyuhiko said.

"I apologize, young master. It won't happen again"

"Don't apologize for that."

"But-"

"No 'but's' Peko. the bell rang so we need to go to our cottages now" Fuyuhiko fined

Peko nodded, bowed to me, and left.

I headed to my cottage as well, who knew what kind of fit Monokuma would throw.
