As soon as Friday told me that Bruce and Tony are now preforming surgery on Jenny to attach her new arm i ran to the medical room leaving Loki with Elliott since Loki practically threw is knife at me while telling me to go to my wife. When i arrive at the medical room the door is locked and i can only watch through the window as Bruce takes Jenny's old metal arm off and attached her new one with Bucky beside her. The surgery took a couple hours but when it was finished and the door unlocked i ran straight inside then sat beside Jenny's bed which was also beside Bucky's bed. Seeing her in this hospital bed brought memories back of the day we found her and brought her here and i truly never want to see her laying on one of these beds ever again.
"She's okay Steve, everything went smoothly" Bruce said as he placed his hand on my shoulder
"Will she be to move that arm when she wakes up?" I asked worriedly knowing she will want to hold Elliott
"Yes she should, the arm is also equipped with a warmer so it won't be cold anymore which means she can hold Elliott without having to wrap a blanket around him first" He said with a small smile
"New arm, new start Steve, we might get our Jenny back who wasn't be scared of anything back" Bucky said with a small smile
"I hope so buck because she shouldn't be living in fear anymore and when we take down the rest of hydra she can finally live without that fear" I said taking her flesh hand in mine
"Maybe she can be a nurse again and get a job here with Bruce" Bucky said thoughtfully
"Don't get your hopes up buck, we need to take things at her pace" I said caressing her knuckles
"She's inproved alot Steve, she isn't like she was when she first got here" Bruce said from the other side of her bed
"But i don't want to push her to much" I said then kiss her hand
"Your not pushing her Steve, your being the same as you were back in the day, your supporting her when she needs it most and your being a damn good husband to my sister. Your the same man she fell in love with all this years ago and she won't let you go no matter what you do because you and Elliott are the reason she is staying strong" Bucky said firmly
"She is the same kind, caring, protective, beautiful women i fell in love with all those years ago, just the thought of her since i came out the ice has kept me going and don't want to loose her now especially now i have her back Bucky. She is the reason i wake up, smile, laugh and helps me through the day, i want us to adopt a few children that need a loving family and for us to grow old together surrounded by our children and grandchildren. I want it all with her beside me the whole time so we can both enjoy it together, I can't loose her again Bucky, i just can't" I said with tears in my eyes
