Pig finds bacon

Scene III

[Alex enters, but the scene has changed to a foggy lake during the night. Kai also enters.]

Alex:

Kai? I thought you were too scared to follow the weird squirrel.

Kai:

Well, I couldn't just let you go alone and I wanna help you out. I would never leave my friend alone and let you get hurt! I would never forgive myself if something happened to you, so now I'm here.

Alex:

Well, let's figure out what's happening here. Thanks for having a change of heart.

Kai:

You're welcome. Now, let's see what's happening here.

[Alex and Kai walk towards where Richard is standing, his back turned to the duo. Nobody notices Kallisto watching from the shadows.]

[As they get closer, they catch a glimpse of something previously obscured from view by the squirrel man.]

Alex:

Is... is that bacon?

Kai:

Oh no.

Alex:

Could that... Could it be Charlie?

Kai:

No matter who it is, we should definitely stay out of sight. It's best if we aren't caught out in the open by that squirrel, or anyone for that matter.

[They watch as the squirrel man walks away from the bonfire, revealing the chunk on the fire and confirming Alex's thoughts.]

[Alex lets his emotions get the better of him and jumps out to chase Richard. He gets exactly one hit in and manages to make a small cut on Richard's shoulder with his knife. You know, the one from the grocery store.]

[Officer K. enters.]

[Officer K. runs over and pulls out handcuffs.]l

Officer K:

What in the world is going on here??!

Richard:

How are the police here? They must have followed me from you, ham! Oh, I'm gonna get you now! You're so screwed.

Officer K:

Get over here, you filthy criminal! You'll be in the slammer for a very long time, my friend.

Richard:

You'll never take me alive!- ah, crap. Well, you'll never catch me after I escape, you stupid human!

[Richard is cut off from his first sentence when Officer K puts him in handcuffs and starts dragging him off.]

Richard:

When I get out of jail, I will look for you all! And when I find you, I will end you like I did to your brother! With your 1 dollar haircuts.

[Richard does an evil laugh, which sounds absolutely ridiculous due to him being a squirrel but I digress.]

[Richard and Officer K. exit.]

Alex:

What did he just say about my haircut?

[Alex and Kai exit.]
