You get back to the room. Lola was waiting on the edge of her bed, kicking her legs back and forth while scrolling mindlessly on her phone. "Oh, how was it? See anyone there? I have been trying to find out which hotel they are staying at but I found nothing at all."

You thought about Sapnap. You should tell her about him, but you wanted to be selfish for once and keep the mystery guy to yourself. Any guy you met would eventually be scared away by Lola's antics. Is it so wrong to want to keep this one a little while longer? "It was good. There were only some kids and stuff. You would've gotten bored in two seconds."

"So did you, I bet. You hate the pool. But if you didn't see anyone, why did you take you so long?"

"I got lost in thought."

Lola rolled her eyes. "Ugh, you always do this. What if one of them were there and you missed it? I should've gone with you. Maybe I should go down with you tomorrow so you get it right."

You were alarmed. What about TwitchCon had set off Lola? She was never usually this high-strung. "It's fine. I'll pay extra attention tomorrow. Your feet will be sore, right? Especially after walking there and back. You wouldn't want to make a bad impression on one of them by being too tired to keep up."

"I guess you're right. I'll trust you."

"Thanks." You didn't want to have to listen to Lola anymore so you grabbed the hotel towels on your bed and went to take a shower. Keeping that chlorine in your hair would not be a good idea.

Once you were back in the room, you saw Lola writing on a giant piece of paper. She was writing down where both of you would go for the three days of the con. It seemed she even planned where you would be when you weren't together. With you scheduled to be at the pool tomorrow from 8:30 to 11. The "ideal" times to spot one of the streamers, if they were even staying at the hotel.

"What's this?" you say sounding a little scared.

"The plan. I am so glad you came cause this would have been impossible to do if you weren't."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I was going to try to do all this on my own, but since you're here, you can do things that I can't. Like tomorrow I'll need my beauty sleep before the second panel. So I'll do that while you're at the pool."

"What do I say if they are here? Oh, I have a good friend that I came with but she didn't want to stake out at the pool to see you? Because she needed to sleep instead?" you asked, puzzled.

"No, Y/N, you have to say 'do you want to get dinner with me and my friend tomorrow night?' Jeez."

"What if they say no?"

"They won't. Look, I don't know if you know this, but you're actually good-looking. Anyone would be happy to get asked out by you." You roll your eyes. She's just using me for my looks. That's why she invited me, you think to yourself. "I'm serious Y/N, do you know how many guys have asked me to give them your number? You are pretty. I think you're pretty."

Oh. You were being a bit too harsh on yourself. And on Lola. There is a reason you're best friends. So, you continue to listen to her plans until she decides you both need to rest so you'll look good for tomorrow. Beauty sleep seems to be real.
