C81 - 81: Double Meaning

Yu Qi did not say anything. She wanted to see what kind of plan this old man wanted to use against her.

"Outsider, you say? Who is an outsider? She is my granddaughter. And you, who do you think are? Calling my beloved granddaughter an outsider? To me, you are the outsider. Just because you were married to Tang Hong Lan, you think you are my family? You are a Ling and I'm a Tang. We are not related to each other." Grandpa Tang gave Ling Man many air punches on his face.

"If Yu Qi wants to poison me, she would do a long time ago. She would not be so stupid doing it right now." Grandpa Tang added.

Yu Qi smiled when she heard about Grandpa Tang absolute trust to her. He never doubted her even once.

Ling Man felt embarrassed. He did not he thought he would stay in this party anymore. Without saying anything, Ling Man left silently. Making fist on his hand, he would make sure Tang Family would pay for this humiliation.

The party continued. Feng Yue stood beside Yu Qi talked to each other. They standing at the corner. In the middle of their conversation, suddenly they heard some noise among the young ladies. They turned around to see the cause of it.

Long Hui. He was the cause. He was standing near his grandfather all the time. He gave a cold face. He also did not talk to anyone else after exchanging words with Tang Family.

Now he left his grandfather side and walked to someone. The young ladies excited when the handsome bachelor coming toward them. The excitement became embarrassing when they saw he just walking passed them.

Long Hui just walked until he reached his destination. His destination? Of course, Yu Qi. Feng Yue was grinning when she looked at Yu Qi's reaction. The slight red appeared on Yu Qi's face.

"Ho Ho Ho..."Feng Yue made sounds. "Yu Qi, I need to go to the toilet." Feng Yue ran away from that place without waiting for Yu Qi to answer her.

Yu Qi flustered when she watched Feng Yue just ran away. She knew Feng Yue just making excuse to left. Not like she truly wanted to go to the toilet.

Long Hui stopped in front of Yu Qi. He smiled to Yu Qi.

"Long time no see." Long Hui said to Yu Qi.

"Yeah. How are you?" Yu Qi politely asked him.

"As usual. By the way, you look stunning tonight." Long Hui dropped the bomb on Yu Qi head.

Yu Qi blushed and hang down her head. She received so many praises about her tonight look. However, when Long Hui was the who praising her, she felt shy.

"Thank you." She managed to thank him despite her shyness.

"How about your study? Is it okay?" Long Hui continued to talk to her.

It was a long time since he met her. He could not let this chance passed just like that. He did not have many chances to meet her. So, he must cherish this chance.

"It was okay. I had finished my final exam. Now just waiting for the result." Yu Qi answered.

"Final exam? Meaning you going to finish high school?"

"Yes."

"Great. You will become an adult then."

Long Hui was happy when she said she would finish high school. Because he could woo her more openly. Other people would give a weird look when he courting a high schooler.

Yu Qi seemed to feel there was a double meaning when he said something like that. But she did not want to inquire about that.

While the two of them inversed in the conversation, the guests were dumbfounded when watching them including the Tang Family except for Grandpa Tang who rolling his eyes looking toward Long Hui currently in the middle of wooing Yu Qi.
