One Last Portal

—[Radars POV]----

it's been weeks since I heard from Jesse or anyone else and I'm starting to get worried. Jesse said they were only going through a few portals but I don't think it takes this long to go through just a few.

I decided to go to Jesse's house, maybe they came back late? I knocked on the door and waited a couple of minutes. nothing. I knocked again. nothing.

I waited about 10 minutes and sighed when I didn't hear anything. maybe they came back late and decided to stay in the treehouse?

I turned to go to the treehouse and walked slowly just in case Jesse did answer the door. when I was out of sight of the house I sighed and made my way over to the treehouse.

before I left Beacon Town, I heard someone. "oh, hello Radar!" I turned around and saw Stampy and Stacy walk over to me. Wink started wriggling in Stacy's arms when he saw me and Stacy put him down and let Wink see me.

"have you seen Jesse at all? it's been a while since we last saw him." Stampy asked as I crouched down to pet Wink. "the last time I saw him was when he met up with Petra and Lukas and they told me they were going to go portal hopping. Jesse said they wouldn't be gone long though."

I cupped Winks face in my hands and scratched his cheeks and behind his ears. "it's been a while though and I was going to their treehouse to see if they're there. I thought maybe they got back late and decided to stay at the treehouse." I explained, standing up. "oh okay. let us know if you find anything."

I nodded. Stacy picked up Wink and both her and Stampy said goodbye.

I turned and made my way over to the treehouse. I climbed the latter and was about to knock on the trapdoor when I noticed a sticky note.

I grabbed it and read it.

'gone portal hopping. be back soon.

-Jesse'

I sighed and put the note back. I climbed down the latter and started making it back to Beacon Town.

'I really hope they're okay'
