Part 12. Fear of losing you

Narrator's POV

You both enter through the next door with you in the lead and Enri following close behind

Y/n: More bodies?

You say expecting bodies to be lying on the floor or strung up. . .but there wasn't any, at least none that you could see, the only thing that stood out was a machine

There was a switch next to the machine, and a red light as well

Y/n: How odd. . .It's just a machine, but what's the use of this machine?

You approach it and you see a design on the machine

Y/n: It looks like a person or body. . .and when it enters the machine it turn into minced meat. . .okayyy, I suggest that we don't touch this at all

Enri nods in agreement

You both quickly move past the machine, not wanting to see or touch it

Entering the next room, you see what you were expecting in the last room

Y/n: There's the bodies

There seemed to be many racks in the room, all filled with countless mutilated bodies, and the ground was all covered in blood

It made you sick to your stomach, and you could tell that Enri felt the same way

Y/n: What is the reason for this?

You walked around the racks, not wanting to touch anything

As you were walking around the racks, you noticed something on the floor

Y/n: What's this?

You were about to pick it up, but you realize what it is and quickly retract your hand

What you were about to pick up was a gouged out eyeball

Y/n: What kind of sick maniac enjoys this?

You shake you head and refocus

Enri: Are you okay?

Y/n: Uh, yeah, let's just keep going before I see any other body part on the floor

Enri nods and grabs your hand, pulling you away from everything

Y/n: Thanks

Enri smiles back

Y/n: (Such a sweet smile)

You then continue on to next room, and in it you find another machine, the same as the last one

Y/n: With the amount of bodies there are, I guess it makes sense to have two machines

Of course, you and Enri avoid touching the machine, not wanting to see it in action

You press on once again, reaching the next room, only to see bodies on the far side of the room, and a laser before you step into the room

You stop Enri from touching the laser

She looks at you confused

Y/n: Don't touch that laser, last time I would have gotten crushed if I had touched a laser

She looks at you even more confused

Y/n: It almost happened when we split up

Enri nods

She stepped back from the laser

You look around the room, trying to asses the situation

Y/n: (There are no warnings, and it seems that this laser isn't going to turn off)
