"They've been planning this for over a year now. This is all for us." Harriet smiled as she gestured towards the Right Arm's camp.

Immunes, you mean. It's all for the immunes, Y/N bitterly thought.

"You guys are lucky you found us when you did. We move out at first light." Sonya was walking beside Harriet, stealing constant glances at Y/N.

"Should we tell her to put the gun down?" Sonya whispered to Harriet.

"Don't," Aris butted in, "When her gun is raised, it means she's gone into survival mode. I wouldn't recommend touching or interacting with her until she's calmed down."

"Hey, where's Vince?" Harriet stopped a fellow Right Arm member, looking for their leader.

"He's over there, I think."

"Who's Vince?" Thomas, as curious as ever, questioned.

"He's the one who decides if you get to stay."

"I thought the Right Arm was supposed to be an army."

"Yeah, we were." The man who Y/N presumed was Vince stepped forward, "This is all that's left of us. Lot of good people died getting us this far. Who are they?"

"They're Immunes. Caught 'em coming up the mountain." Harriet answered.

"Did you check 'em?"

"I know this guy, Aris. I trust him."

"Well, I don't. Check 'em."

Y/N saw Brenda swaying, struggling to stay upright. She quietly groaned, catching everybody else's attention.

"Brenda, hey!" Y/N caught her just before Brenda collapsed, "Brenda, you good?"

"What's going on with her?" Vince asked Jorge.

"I don't know."

While Brenda panted and Thomas fanned her face, Vince crouched down. He noticed bandages on Brenda's leg and slowly pulled them down.

"Crank! We've got a crank!" On instinct, he pointed his gun at Brenda. Y/N hurriedly stood up, standing in between her friend and the weapon.

"Shoot her and I'll shoot you." Y/N growled.

"No one is shooting anyone!" Thomas yelled, "Listen, okay? This just happened. She's not dangerous yet."

"You shouldn't have brought her here. We let cranks in, the safe haven won't last a week!" Vince shouted, enraged.

"I told her you could help her. There's got to be something you can do."

"Yeah, I can put her out of her misery."

"Don't you fucking dare!" Y/N screamed, "I'll blow your brains out, you son of a bitch!"

"Vince, that's enough!" A woman stumbled into the cleaning, ordering Vince to lower his gun.

"She's infected, doc. There's nothing we can do for her."

"No, but he can. Hello, Thomas." She smiled at the boy and he was taken aback.

"What? You know me?"

"Interesting." The Right Arm's doctor also looked at Y/N, "And you have Y/N with you."

"Do I know you?"

The doctor's face sunk slightly. Y/N wasn't sent into the maze, yet there was a huge chunk of her memory missing due to trauma.

"Maybe you don't remember me, but I was one of your doctors at WICKED. And Thomas, it makes sense they'd put you in the maze. Though I must admit, I was worried they'd kill you after what you did."

"What I did?"

"The first time we spoke, you said you couldn't take it anymore, watching your friends die, one by one. The last time we spoke, you gave me the coordinates of every WICKED compound, trial and lab."

Y/N took a step forward, staring at the woman with her breath stuck in her throat.

"You... you were there when they..." Y/N couldn't find herself to continue her sentence. "My sister..."

"Yes, I was there. WICKED wanted a soldier and you were the perfect candidate."

"So you sat back and watched... while those fuckers destroyed my life?!" Y/N was beyond angry. She almost shot the poor woman out of blinded rage. If it wasn't for Vince, the doctor would've been lying on the floor in a puddle of blood.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Vince yelled. Y/N glowered at him, snatching her gun away from his grasp.

"Y/N, I'm sorry for what WICKED did to you. And to your sister. Your sister agreed to the testing. She wanted a better life for you. And because of her, we were so close to a breakthrough."

"I don't want an apology. What am I going to do with that? I don't care if she agreed. You shouldn't be testing on kids anyway." As quickly as Y/N's anger had festered up, it disappeared. She knew anger wasn't going to bring her sister back. "Just heal Brenda."

Y/N walked off to calm herself down. Nobody followed, not even Minho or Newt. They knew this was something she had to deal with on her own.

"Psst!" Y/N heard a whisper from beside her. She turned her head to see Sonya motioning her to follow. Y/n swallowed up all her remaining anger and walked after the young blonde.

"Hey, I believe we got off on the wrong foot. I'm Sonya."

"Y/N."

"Nice to meet you, Y/N." Sonya smiled, "And I'm sorry about all the fuss before. People usually aren't as reasonable as you and your friends."

"I hope you don't expect me to apologise for almost killing you." Y/N deadpanned, making Sonya laugh.

"Oh, not at all. You don't look like the type of person to apologise. It was impressive, though. You have some great moves."

Y/N could see Brenda getting carried into a tent, Thomas having to follow behind.

"Sorry. I should get back to them." Y/N excused herself, jogging back to where her group was standing.
