Fic prompt: Write a fic about something you see everyday 12-7-22

“Do you accept these terms, ms.Elsie?” The judge said, looking through her papers one last time. “I do,” Elsie replied, holding in her tears.
‘I do” those words once marked the happiest day of her life, but now there’re the words that finalized her divorce. She couldn't believe it, her marriage of 25 long years was officially over. At one point she thought that her marriage would last until the day she died, but I guess 25 years was the max.
As she left the courtroom she stared at her ex-husband, she told him ”I wish you well in life, Elmer.” As she said that she turned around, walking away holding in her tears to stop them from falling down her face.
