Wind Archer's POV
_____________________________________
I was walking through the forest and now, I'd never forget this day, for today was the day I met someone who changed my life. I was patrolling the forest like I normally do, until I heard a soft rustling in the bushes. Instantly, I ready up my bow and arrow and prepare to shoot. The rustling stopped for a moment, but then continued. I hesitated, but then fired a bow. It flew straight into the bushes. A soft, yet quite pretty, voice yelped in pain. A wave of guilt swayed through me. I stayed there in place, motionless. A couple of minutes passed by and then a cookie crawled out of the bushes and plopped down on the ground. He was pretty cute. And that made me feel bad. My arrow was jabbed right in his shoulder.
Ouch.
He lies there on his side, whimpering in pain. I still remained in place.
Wrong move.
He suddenly looked at me and scowled. "Are you gonna help me or what, bitch?" He spat. I didn't respond. I guess he noticed the arrow in my bag, because he looked very mad. "Why the FUCK did you shoot me?!" He yelped. I remained silent, frozen in place. "Well? Talk!" He growled. "I'm sorry." I muttered. "You shouldn't be hiding in bushes. It'll make others feel threatened or a hunter will think it's some living rabbit stew." His face softened and he was no longer scowling. "It's ok..." He whispered. He tried to stand, I guess his arm was hurting too much for him to put pressure on it, because as soon as he pressed down on his left arm he yelped and fell over...
On the shoulder that the arrow was stuck in.
Yikes.
He nearly screamed in agony after the fall. I flinched, knowing that that visibly hurt him. I walk over slowly, to him. He was now crying, but his tears were evaporating. His flaming hair was flailing in the air. I almost chuckled at it. I reach for the arrow, but he yelps and scoots back. "I'm just going to remove it from your arm." I calmly say. He stared at me, wide-eyed and shook his head. I frown and scoot closer. "Please. I want to help you." I say. He opens his mouth... but doesn't say anything. He closes it and hesitantly nods. I, again, reach for the arrow and slowly pull it out of his arm. He winced and whined and closed his eyes.
He was in pain.
I considered just yanking it out to put him out of the misery, but that would start major bleeding and I don't want to witness a cookie's jam pouring out of their body. I continue to slowly pull the arrow out of his arm, and I did it! The arrow is a little bloody, but I can wash it off. And then I looked at the flaming-haired cookie. He was staring behind me wide-eyed.
He panicked.
He started to aimlessly kick his legs and was yelping in fear.
And then he fainted.
I look behind me and gasp.
