due to her misfortune yesterday night with Daeva, Wednesday was feeling a bit underwhelmed of herself. she was so sure that it was Daeva. if it is not the telekinetic, then who took that photo?

Enid skipped over toward Wednesday's side of the room as she's all ready to leave the dorm for today's classes. a bit more cheery and happy than yesterday.

"are you ready?" the blonde asks

"almost." Wednesday puts one last thing in her backpack before slinging it onto her shoulders "now i am."

the two roommates walks out of the door and down to the lounge where Enid says hello and goodbye to the other occupants of Ophelia Hall.

Wednesday leads the way to the Psychology of Macabre room. where the classroom is you can see the front doors of Nevermore, it wasn't far. people came in and out all the time, but something didn't feel right to Wednesday.

"hey guys" Xavier greets them as they all meet up at the classroom door, Ajax following behind him

"hey, you ready for another lecture and more chalk being thrown at you?" Enid snickers

"i think the teacher has a crush on Xavier if i'm being honest, i mean look at him, who wouldn't?" Ajax gushes as he pinches Xavier's cheek

Xavier tries to push him off as Enid laughs at the two, Wednesday keeps her eyes on the door and they open. a gust of wind blows through the halls causing Ajax to stop and their attentions being turned toward the door.

a girl with blonde-brown-ish hair walks in, a man carrying her bags behind her. Xavier's smile drops as he realizes who the person is.

"hey, Xavier, isn't that-" Ajax starts to ask

"Xena." Xavier mutters

Xavier pushes past Wednesday and Enid and jogs to the front door, from where the three were standing, all they could see was various hand movements and Xavier looking pissed.

"Ajax, who is that?" Wednesday asks

"that's Xena Thorpe, Xavier's twin sister" Ajax explains "she was at Nevermore a year before you came here Enid, but then she left. Xavier never really said why, but i guess she's back"

the bell rings and the Thorpe siblings head up to the Headmaster's office, Ajax walks into the room and Enid follows, but Wednesday stays as the thought of Xena Thorpe now at Nevermore lingers in her mind.

Enid reaches for the girl's hand and it brings Wednesday back to the reality of things. she looks down at Enid's hand holding hers, and then up at the girl who has a concerned look on her face.

"you okay Wednesday?" Enid asks

"i'm fine." Wednesday answers

Enid lets go of her hand and they walk into the room together and sit on their chairs. Enid takes a look at Wednesday who looks distracted, Wednesday Addams does not get distracted. she's noticed a lot of things with Wednesday recently, things that Wednesday last semester would not be doing.

missing answers to a question, wearing the things Enid gives her, letting Enid be so close and cuddly with her. she's also noticing things about herself that she wasn't noticing last semester. how her heart beats faster when Wednesday enters the room, how Wednesday is the only person her eyes instantly look for. how pretty Wednesday's dark eyes are, how Wednesday has 19 freckles on her face.

at this point it's become more of an obsession. Enid's only felt this way once, and that was for Ajax. the feelings Enid had for Ajax couldn't possibly be the same ones she's having for Wednesday. they're roommates, it would be weird.

Enid shakes it off and turns toward the front of the room to Denilios who was looking straight at her.

"Ms. Sinclair, would you care to share to the rest of the class what is so captivating about the side of Ms. Addams' head?" Denilios asks

Wednesday turns and faces Enid with a confused look, Wednesday hasn't noticed the girl staring at her until now.

"i-uh. i just zone out from time to time and i-i guess i zoned out looking at Wednesday. sorry Mr. Denilios." Enid apologizes

Denilios scoffs and turns his back toward his students as he writes on the board. Wednesday grabs Enid's hand and this causes the blonde to look up from her notebook to the goth next to her. once Wednesday had her attention she slides over a piece of paper.

Wednesday gives Enid an unsatisfied look. the psychic knows that her werewolf counterpart isn't alright. Enid turns her head from Wednesday back to the front of the room before Denilios scolds at her again.

Wednesday looks around the room and spots Daeva's empty seat. she didn't think much of it until second period when Daeva's seat was also empty. Wednesday waited until lunch as she drags Enid around the school asking if anyone has seen Daeva. with no luck in finding the telekinetic. the two girls head back to their dorm, something was different as soon as they entered the room.

Enid sat down on her bed and sighs as she looks at Wednesday who was on her side of the room. then suddenly a shriek comes out of the pup. Wednesday turns around quickly and looks at Enid confused, then looks at the beam where there was a frog with a hunting knife stabbed through it, creating a staple for it to the beam.

on the frog was a note. Wednesday removes the knife and the frog from the wooden beam and looks at the note.

"Daeva croaked, soon it'll be you and your roommate pierced onto the beam." Wednesday read out loud

Enid gets up from her bed and paces back and forth, Wednesday drops the dead frog and knife onto the floor and looks at Enid.

"stop that, you're making me nauseous." Wednesday tells the girl

"is she dead? is that why we couldn't find her? oh my god did we kill Daeva?"

Enid's rambling turns into her hyperventilating. Wednesday walks over and grabs the girl by her shoulders, stopping her from moving any more.

"Enid. pull yourself together."

"who would do this? i thought we were done with all of this"

Wednesday sits Enid down on her bed and stands in front of her. she crosses her arms as Enid stares into oblivion, rocking back and forth, trying to calm her breathing. the psychic has never seen anything like this before, Wednesday has never been anxious of anything, but her werewolf roommate isn't her.

Wednesday kneels down in front of Enid and forces the blonde to look at her. Wednesday takes Enid's hands in her own and looks at the girl in her captivating blue eyes.

"you're okay. i will always make sure of that. you will always be my number one priority, Sinclair. it's you or no one at all."
