Chapter 4: An Anodite

It was a usual day for Achilles

Achilles was getting dressed for work and doing his usual morning routine

And went to work but he didn't notice that he was being followed

Time skip

He was walking home from work because he was finished early and he was hanging out with his best friend

Tom: You met the justice league and the avengers. Awesome!

Achilles: it's not that a big deal.

Tom: Not a big deal, dude I wish you would have gotten their autographs for me.

Achilles: Well you could've asked me and would have gotten them for you.

Tom: It's ok plus you might become a member of some of those groups.

Achilles: I don't know they already have heavy hitters in their groups Tom.

Tom: True but one more wouldn't hurt.

Tom: Hey I got a question?

Achilles: What is it?

Tom: What happened to that alien lady you encountered.

Achilles: Honestly I have no idea? When I left the watchtower, I headed back to her to let her know that everything is cleared up. But she disappeared.

Tom: You think she'll turn up?

Achilles:  Hmmm maybe?

Tom: Okay second question, do you think the cosmic beings you told me about. Are aware of you being on earth.

Achilles: Oh they are aware of me yes.

Tom: Really?

Achilles: Yep because if they leave me alone, I'll leave them alone.

Tom: Oh okay last question do you have a pink lamp.

Achilles: No why?

Tom: Because.

Tom pointed at the house and they saw pink light coming from the house.

They ran inside the house and saw the same Anodite from yesterday.

Achilles: It's you.

???: Wait I can explain.

Time skip

Achilles: So you don't have a place to stay?

???: Yes I just really don't want to outside in the cold and I don't want that bald dirt bag to find me.

Achilles was thinking about it.

Achilles: "Sighs" Okay you can stay with me. But you never given me your name.

???: My name is Maria.

Achilles: Okay Maria, you can take the guest bedroom.

Maria: Thank you.
