georges pov

i hung up the phone,pissed.

my girlfriend cheated on me for the third fucking time.

i gave her so many chances,but she threw away every single one.i feel angry tears forming my eyes.i take a deep breath and exhale shakily.my hands are shaking and my eyes feel heavy.

it's getting harder to breathe and im started to panic.i quickly got off my bed and walked across the hallway.

i knocked on dreams room and heard a faint 'come in' so i went inside.

dream was sitting on his bed,doing something on his phone.when he saw me,he quickly put his phone away

"hey,what happened?" he pat on his bed,signaling me to come over.

i went to the bed and sat down,wiping my eyes. "maya"i said. dreams hands were in fists and he looked angry.i know what he's thinkig,i gave her yet another chance.how pathetic of me

i couldn't hold in my tears anymore and started crying.

"hey,hey,its okay"dream brought me into a hug,holding me tightly.

i hugged back,holding him like i'd die if i let go.

"it'll be fine."dream whispered,running his hand through my hair.

"i don't know what to do,Dream"i said,sniffling.

dream let go "what do you mean you don't know what to do?you dump her.you've given her so many chances george,what's so special about her that you just  can't let go?"

i shrugged.truth is,i've given her so many chances,because she distracts me from my feelings.

the only reason i started going out with her,is becasue i thought i'd fall in love with her,and fall out of love with dream.

obviously,that didn't work but i keep trying and trying.

dream sighed "you need to get over her,George."

"i am over her"i mumbled,looking down.

dream raised a brow "really?then why are you having a panic attack because of her?"he crossed his arms.

"im not having a panic attack,because of her."

dream sat with a confused look on his face.

"look,i don't even wanna be with her.i didn't even like her from the beginning.the only reason im with her is so..i can..distract myself.from my,um,real feelings." george was playing with his fingers.

"what do you mean?" dream uncrossed his arms

"im with her,so i can distract myself from my feelings,for you."george said and looked up,looking at dream in the eyes.

dream held eye contact,not looking away.

"i-you have feelings..for me?"dream said,his eyes lighting up.

george slightly nodded and gulped,thinking he just ruined his relationship with his best friend forever.

but instead,dream started smiling widely,now making george raise his brow.

"george,you have no idea how madly in love i am with you."dream grabbed georges hands,still smiling widely

"you are?" george said,his sparkly eyes sparkling even more.

dream nodded and bit his bottom lip in excitement.

george smiled and hugged dream tightly,happy tears forming in his eyes.

dream hugged back and took a deep breath,relaxing all his muscles.

this is the best day of my life.
