the humid air collided with her face like a slap, and it took xenoia a while to gain composure. the temperature soared above 40°c and she felt sorry for her sister, who thought it was smart to wear long-legged pants to hawaii.
"i think i'm about to pass out, not gonna lie."
sequoia's words make the other two snort, her sister rolling her eyes as she rolled her suitcase beside her.
"you're just stupid, 'quoia. it was too funny to tell you to change."
vivienne makes a noise in agreement, pushing her sunglasses down as she gives sequoia a disapproving look.

sequoias scoffs, fanning herself with one hand, all too futile, then briskly walks ahead of the others. bag check and immigration completed, they stroll towards the exit, keeping an eye out for any taxi driver who had their names printed on a screen.
"vivi, are you sure you booked a taxi?"
the girl nods immediately, "it comes with booking the resort."
