ME SAVANAH AND MARIA were making our way home from the concert.
My brother wasn't here but with some smooch just to get some.
I was in the back with Savanah since Mari was still excited and Savanah didn't want her excitement causing an accident.
"Woww so y'all finna leave me in front here" Maria said looking at us through the mirror.
"My bad sis ion know what Savanah gotta say" I say smiling looking over at Savanah.
"Girl both of y'all can hop off I'm just ova hea dreading school tomorrow" Savanah mentions looking out the car window.
I completely forgot I had school tomorrow, my momma gon get on my ass; I saw the iMessage notification that Dd had sent me a message but I ignored it because all that was running through my head was my mom getting mad at me.
"Yo Mari why you ain't tell me we have school tomorrow" I asked leaning up from my seat looking at her.
"Bruh ntm on me cause I forgot but I'll take the blame relax" Maria reassured.
That's why I loved her. I sat back in my seat relaxing knowing I wasn't gonna get in much trouble.
Maria parked on the street to drop Savanah at her house.
"Savanah get home safe you like my lil sis forreal" Maria said looking back at Savanah.
"Don't worry bruh I will, bye Vani" Savanah said embracing me into a hug before leaning in front hugging Maria.
She got out of the car as we watched her walk in then pulling off.

IT WAS CURRENTLY 9:15 and me and Vani were getting out the car preparing ourselves to face Mom.
As we walked nearer to the door in silence Avani broke it.
"Word2 I'm scared" she said looking up at me given she was shorter. "Girl we not in no movie we gonna be fine" I reassured her dragging her inside.
We got in and I shut the door locking it behind me; we saw mom washing up then drying her hands walking over to confront us.
"Where have ya girls been" my mom asked us. "Mom I'm- it was my fault I shoulda been more responsible and came home with Avani earlier my fault momma" I said cutting Vani off. "Please y'all got school tomorrow but don't do that shit again without texting me" mom said in response and heading back to the kitchen. "Since when the fuck did we have school" Avani asked me. "IDIOMA AVANI" mom shouted. "Lo siento mama" Avani responded. "Bro YOU have school I don't but ya two weeks break is done" I told her taking off my shoes as she did the same. "Loco María because you got school too" my mom told me laughing to herself. "Oh my gawdd" I said tilting my head back.
"I'm going upstairs I'm tired and this boy has been blowin mines" Vani told us. "Que chico" my mom said watching her walk upstairs confused. "lo conocerás pronto mamá" she said before disappearing upstairs.
I got a snack from the kitchen going up to my room. _____________________________
