Blue blue blue blue
Blue like the sun
Blue like the moon
He was all one hue
Inside and out
Just blue blue blue
All the way around
He sang blue songs
And he wrote blue thoughts

I've always been yellow
Except for when I'm red
So this blue blue man
Was hard for me to understand
But I think I get it now
He didn't start off this way
The blue man was born like me
Yellow in every way

The artist and the poet
They painted him
They picked out a color
Maybe at random
I'll never know
Except for when I meet them
And by then it'll be to late for me to understand
The blue hue of the blue man

I wrote this from my sister's perspective. She is a very happy optimistic person and sometimes she doesn't understand people that get down, have rough days, or are always down. This is why I have a rough relationship with her, because I have clinical depression and I get in really bad moods that she simply doesn't understand. I wrote this to try to figure out why she couldn't figure me out.
