Her body is covered in ink
And his is to
He has a number and a star
Her's is a god.
His three digits remind him of something
He'd rather not remember
A loss of his faith
And the smell of German soil.
Her snake hair speaks as her testimony
Just as the goddess was protected
She wishes to destroy that man
Who destroyed her life in five minutes.
Everyday when they meet
They exchange stories with their skin
Stories that they don't want to repeat again.
Stories that are sad, sacred, and true
Can be told in a single tattoo.

Me, along with a lot of other teenagers, are told to never get tattoos. I've always found tattoos really appealing because you can tell such deep and personal stories with them. That's this story, two people both with really important stories to share that decided to share them by getting tattoos.
