📍School, New York December 20, 5:00 pm Angel Rivera -------------------------------------
I climbed down the ladder confused on what was going on. Eva and Janine ran up to me and put their arms around me.
"Hey, it's time to go come on" Janine said as we started to walk. Eva looked at my face and could tell something was up.
"Angel, what's wrong?" She asked curiously.
"DD just yelled at me for something about linking with opps..." I said shaking my head still confused.
"Who exactly were you linking with and where was y'all linking?" Janine said raising a brow.
I just handed her the phone so she could see what it was about.
"OMG" Janine randomly shouted as we were walking out of the school doors causing me and Eva to look at her concerned.
"Girl you linking with people that they want to kill. And these people also want to kill them." Janine said enlightening me and Eva.
"Come on so we can find DD and explain to his stupid ass about what really happened." Eva said grabbing my hand.
"Good luck with that" I said gently letting go of her hand.
"Angel, what are you talking about? Come on we have to go before he does something stupid." Eva said.
"No, I'm not chasing after a nigga, especially when he's in the wrong." I said. Eva and Janine sighed.
"Fine, we'll take you home." Eva said grabbing my hand again.
📍Sugarhill, New York December 20, 5:50 pm David Reyes -------------------------------------
Ddot came running down the block towards me. Once he reached me he held one finger out signaling that he needed a minute as he heavily breathed.
"I got your text, what's up with Angie?" He said in between breaths.
"Shes linking with Cblu." I said getting straight to the point.
"Miss me with that bullshit, Angie would never if she knew DOA wanted to harm us." He said now standing straight up and breathing normally.
"It's true I saw the address, the message, everything." I said wondering why he didn't believe me when it was obvious.
"No. You didn't see everything, you saw what you wanted to see." He said walking away from me and into his apartment.
I rolled my eyes and went to go tell Notti about the situation.
📍 Ddot's apartment, New York December 20, 6:00 pm Janine Parker ------------------------------------
"Ok so tomorrow, we need to get Angie and Dd back talking again before the dance, you'll call Eva to keep an eye on Angie, and I'll call Notti to keep and eye on DD." Ddot explained our plan to me as I shook my head in understanding.
"And we can get Eva and Notti to talk then into seeing each other as well." I added on.
"Right, then Dd can apologize and hopefully Angie's stubborn ass will accept it." Ddot said rolling his eyes at the two's stubbornness.
"Aight I'll call Eva now." I said going to sit down.
"Yeah I'ma call Notti" Ddot said taking his phone out of his pocket.
📍 Angel's apartment, New York December 20, 7:00 pm Angel Rivera -------------------------------------
"Ok, bye." Eva said hanging up her phone.
"Who was that?" I asked looking at the tv.
"Just Janine, she was wondering if you were still going to the dance." Eva said looking over at me.
"Of course I am, we worked so hard on it I wouldn't miss it for some nigga being in his feelings." I said still occupied by the tv.
"I guess you're right so you are wearing that baby blue dress still, right?" Eva said making sure of everything.
"Yes, why?" I said wondering why she was asking so many questions.
"No reason, just wanted to know. Anyways I'm gonna go text my mom and let her know I'm staying the night here." She said as she exited my room.
"Aight." I said ignoring her suspicious actions.
