jukes walked quickly outside, to where rue was sitting on the curb.
"what?" jules questioned, moving a strand of rues hair.
"i fucking hate this town." rue said.
"if i could, i'd burn it to the fucking ground."
"and salt the earth behind you."
a moment of silence passed.
"jules, are you in love with anna?" rue questioned.
"yeah." jules nodded.
"are you, uhm.. are you in love with me?"
"yeah."
"do you wish i was different?"
jules immediately shook her head.
"what if we just fucking left? we just fucking left this dance, and we went home, grabbed a bunch of our shit, and just went to the city?" rue suggested. "what if we just fucking left?"
