First off i know i suck at naming these
Second so i have a speech impediment and I've been through speech therapy and i have horrible spelling and grammar but ato correct helps sometimes i also know ASL/sign language for other reasons so if my speech impediment is getting in the way too much i just use ASL
The speech impediment does make me stutter and randomly pause when I'm talking
And actually storytime so one of my friends (let's call him friend 1) told me to stop stuttering and pausing when i talk but then my other friend (friend 2) who was right next to me at the time had to explain that i can't control it and I'm not doing on purpose even though I have known friend 1 longer then friend 2 and friend 1 got really upset and refused to talk to us just because friend 2 tried to explain it like seriously it's not that big of a deal friend 2 was only explaining it because if he had said that to someone else they might have gotten upset, offended, or they might be insecure about it just because I'm not doesn't mean others aren't i just find it funny when people say things like that and then just watching their expression change when i explain it to them and then they just try to apologize like a million times and after i just say
"others might get upset, offended, or they might be insecure about it just because I'm not doesn't mean others aren't so don't metchen it if it may hurt their feelings"
And you could remember that quote so you don't unintentionally hurt someone (their feelings can turn physical and most of the time it's not good and i have scars to prove it {insecurities from other things used to turn physical but not anymore at all} and i think u know what I mean by that)
