The Adoption Talk

LUKA'S POV:

I was with my wife cuddling and watching TV. I occasionally gave her a kiss as well.

We finally managed to buy a house for the two of us and put a pride flag outside in the front yard.

"Hey, babe.. I need to talk to you about something," my wife suddenly spoke.

"Sure." I pause the TV.

"I've been considering this decision for a really long time now. No, it isn't a divorce at all."

"What is it then?"

MEIKO'S POV:

I take a deep breath and tell my wife about my decision.

"I want to... adopt a child."

"W-what?"

"Yeah. We'd have to adopt since we're both women. If you don't want to it's fine."

"I mean, I don't really see why we can't.." my wife stated.

Then she got excited.

"I'd honestly love to. We'd be the best mothers ever!" she says pulling me into a hug.

AFTER THE ADOPTION PROCESS | LUKA'S POV

"Look at our beautiful daughter.. Since the biological parents never decided, what should we name her?" my wife said, holding our newly adopted daughter in her arms.

"Hm... I think Autumn is a beautiful name," I suggest.

"Perfect. Autumn it is!"

I kiss my wife on the head and whispered to her softly.

"I told you we'd make great moms.."

I put our daughter to sleep and me and my wife go snuggle upstairs in our room.
