Chapter 14: Baji's Birthday

Two days later.

It was November 3rd, Western Zodiac Scorpio month, Culture Day in Japan and also, Baji Keisuke's birthday.

He finally turn 15 like literally.

"So, today is your friend Baji's birthday... Aren't you supposed to be in the infirmary to celebrate his birthday instead of being here?" Yuna asked to Kazutora who was sitting on her couch and her office.

Yuna and Yuujin stared at him like if he was a stray cat they picked up from a box while Kazutora, he was looking at his hands.

"I...I heard that Mikey was coming which...I can't be around with him....after all I done...I don't feel like I should be around with him since...I accidentally killed his brother" Kazutora said with guilt in his tone as his expression show remorse and regrets.

He didn't know how this happened. He didn't understand why he act like madman when he was actually considerate and kind person.

He didn't understand why he thought of robbing that bike for his friend's birthday when he knew that it was completely a stupid idea.

He didn't know why but he done it and instead of trying to ask for forgiveness, he blamed on the person who protected him from his abusive, estranged father.

He didn't know if Mikey was willing to forgive him or even take him back as his friend and member of Toman.

He soon felt a hand on his shoulder which he looked up and seeing Yuna who wore her calm, relaxed expression.

"Hey, It wasn't your fault. It was a accident which everyone makes mistakes, Kazutora. If you want, you can stay with us as longest you want"-Yuna

"Huh?!"-Kazutora

"Yoiki is home for kids who have issues in home or being victims of domestic violence and abuse...I can tell by looking you. It was your dad, wasn't it?" Yuna soon asked which Kazutora was stunned before he sadly nodded.

"I don't know if I can return home....I hate that man for the hell he put on my mom and me...as for Mom, she can't even look at me or even thinking that I would hit her like that bastard...I have no one waiting for me"-Kazutora

"Now, you have. We can protect you from that shrimp Blondie. Our family has thing on fostering kids who don't have parents or have issues...You will be okay and safe if your dumbass sperm donor does come to look for you...if you don't mind, Raon can scare the shit out of him" Yuujin added that which Kazutora slightly laugh with tears on his eyes before he soon wiped his tears away.

"Thanks you...Thank you very much....Aneki and Aniki" he said out of relief as he sobbing.

Yuna and Yuujin comforted him while Emma was outside and hearing the conversation between them.

She lean her head against the wall and gave a deep sighs.

"What it means to be a family....I miss you lot, Izana-nii"-Emma

Meanwhile with Takemichi and others

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BAJI/BAJI-KUN/BAJI-SAN!!!" Everyone shouted as Baji soon gave his usual toothy grin.

"Ah, thanks guys. Now, I'm going to use this damn shoe if Mikey comes and smash a cake on my face again..." Baji soon said as wielding the almighty La Chancla in glory like how in the Lion King.
