Daisy Evans was too familiar with heartbreak. She lost her sister and brother-in-law when she was only sixteen. With losing them, she also lost her nephew, three friends that felt more like family, and so many peers she grew up with.
Because she was underage when her family was murdered, she was not permitted to take custody of Harry, her nephew. When she came of age, she tried writing her sister Petunia, offering to take the boy in as her own. All of her letters were ignored, and Daisy was driven close to madness.
