CR: AotGG Ep 2: The Very Start Part 2

Back with the Gingerbread Twins with their pet Drops, they continue their walk through the thick yet dark forest. The twins are still holding each other's hands. GingerBrave leads the way with his heart filled with courage. GingerBright, on the other hand, is cautious of what's around her, her brother, and their pets.

"Big Bro, do you even know where we're going?" GingerBright asks.

"Nope, but all I know as long as we keep going forward, we'll be farther away from that psycho witch," GingerBrave responded.

"I don't like the feeling of these woods. It's like somebody is watching us."

"Don't worry, Little Sis. We got our weapons, our pets by our side, my brave self, and your smart self. We can face all of the dangers of this world."

"You're right. I need to stay on the bright side of things. I'm just worried about the unexpecting things that might happen, and I want to get out of this lightless forest."

"Hey, wait! I think I see some light ahead. We're almost out of this place. Let's run to it!"

But when the Gingerbread Twins run to where the light is coming from, they find themselves in a wasteland covered with red skies, pale green grass, huts, and camps for Cake and Jelly Monsters surrounding the Dark Chocolate Cake Castle.

"Woah. I don't know where we are, but I know that we're not in the forest anymore," said GingerBrave.

When GingerBright looks down, she notices that she, her brother, and their pet Drops are floating in mid-air to say, "We're not even on the ground."

The Gingerbread Twins and their Drop pets scream in fear as they fall. They soon landed on a giant Cake Hound.

"Woah, that was close. We could've been killed. At least, we've landed on something soft and mushy," said GingerBrave, as he and GingerBright stand while their pets stand close to their legs.

When they see what's leftover of the giant Cake Hound, GingerBright said, "I think we landed on some cake. But why was it here?"

When the Gingerbread Twins see their pet Drops eating the remains, the Twins' stomach begins to growl.

"Well, we haven't eaten in hours after we fled the Witch's house. Let's dig in," said GingerBrave.

"Okay. We can't continue forward on an empty stomach," said GingerBright.

Pretty soon, the Twins join with their pets in eating the giant Cake Hound remains. But not far from them, a pack of Cake Hounds noticed what they were doing. They charge over to them to attack.

After the Gingerbread Twins and their pet Drops finished eating, Choco Drop and Cheese Drop begin to bark like crazy when they notice a pack of Cake Hounds is coming.

"That was a good cake, but where did it even come from?" GingerBright said.

When the Twins notice their pet Drops protecting them, they get confused because GingerBrave said, "Choco Drop? Cheese Drop? What's wrong? Is something bugging you?"

"Gah! Big Bro, look," said GingerBright, notices the Cake Hound Pack has surrounded them.

As the Cake Hounds growl at the Twins and the Drops, GingerBrave hugs his sister in comfort while saying, "These cake slices! They're alive!! And I think we've just landed, thus killed and eaten one of their members."

The Gingerbread Twins then take out their weapons to fight them, but before they could, they heard a voice heard, "Don't attack them yet, Cake Hounds."

The Twins then see Licorice Cookie coming forward with his face covered by his hood and Bat-Cat on his shoulder.
